Lew and I have had the most incredible time in Melbourne and we hope you enjoy this video. this is my first vlog in a while and i'm so excited for you to see what we got up to.

Melbourne and most of the eastern States of Australia have been affected with a really wet 2022/23 caused by the 2022 Tongan volcanic eruption. Now in February, which is usually our hottest month with 40+ C days, we have freezing weather and even snow on the mountains 🤷♀️ By the way, FYI we call ourselves “Melburnians”. Love your vlog.
Oh gosh! I hope it passes soon so that you get a nicer summer! Also, realised everyone calls themselves that in our second week in Melbourne 😂 bloody love it! Thank you for watching the video! X

When exactly is this? Bcs im going to Melbourne end of december. Iam afraid if the weather will be super hot. What do you think based on your experience?
Thank you so much for watching! This was filmed two weeks ago! The thing about Melbourne is you can have all the seasons in a day 😂 we had some days that were really, really hot but then torrential rain. It’s quite hit and miss but the bad weather passes quickly ❤️
Your visa experience is so funny - years ago, while working for a global corporation, I flew into Sydney. One colleague was to fly in from the UK - she landed in Sydney without a visa - how she got on the flight at London is still a mystery. But her answer at Sydney’s immigration was hilarious and I am surprised she was let in. She said something like “Gee, there was a time we shipped convicts out and they came without visas”!
Omg stop it hahhahaha did they let her in?!? I’m shocked she even managed to make it on the flight!
@@StephElswood Well, she made it to the meeting a few hours late. I literally fell off my chair when she told everyone in the room about what happened!
