He didn’t criticize the song, he criticized her flat tone and her weak singing voice. You have to be able to separate your own tastes and emotions from constructive criticism, which this channel is for. I as an amateur could hear that she’s flat when she’s singing. I also agree that her voice is not very strong. This is a song that requires powerful vocals and she’s simply not able to deliver them. Such a shame, because the song itself is cool. I like eurodance/90’s songs a lot.

Her vocals might be not the best, but she can overall perform very well and it is just a party song for fun not a pretended opera. Maybe not the winner, but nothing you have to be ashamed of. I think she deserved the final.

@@petouser i do agree but dancing and outfits and preformance is also important. also ngl i saw videos of her singing from ppl who recorded in the arena as it was happening and she sounded so much better than the official camera , idk maybe she cant hear herself

Although I am from Austria I totally agree! Her vocals are flat and worse than flat! I loved the performance but I was ashamed of her vocals! But I am still hoping for some points cause she is the last one performing and people should be drunk in front of their TVs 🙈🤣
This song reminds me of the German dance music group Cascada. Not my cup of tea though.

I am from Austria and I agree totally with you. I think that's a great song, a really rhythm song but her voice doesn't sound good and too weak for this powerful melody. They should have taken this song with a better singer who has the range to sing this.
I think the song itself is a great Eurodance throwback, the performance is pretty good, and the vocals are sorta mid.
Honestly think we all got spoiled by Chanel at the 2022 Eurovision with her top tier vocal and dance performance, and we might have to manage our expectations going forward 😅

I would expect a singer at the Eurovision Song Contest to be professional enough to recognize that dancing AND singing is too much for her*his voice. Sometimes less is more.
that's not a problem for her. she's been a stand-in for eurovision rehearsals for YEARS. she is a great performer. it's just her voice
You speak as if you are a great vocal expert. You talk about karaoke as if everyone can dance and sound like that in karaoke. Now you talk as if Eurovision were a serious contest, when these days it is too far from it. 😂😂😂
I respect your opinion but I do think that you could have worded it a lot better because this will just add lots of fuel to the fire of hate against her (which trust me, there's a lot rn). So while I do appreciate your "honesty", this was one you could've left on the cutting room floor because it's borderline hate which will add fuel to the fire of hate.

@@TotalbadassX you can say that but he’s like clearly biased. I watched his San Marino reaction right after this… didn’t even talk about her voice or technical issues. Maxxy Rainbow somehow did an even better review of her live voice than an actual “vocal coach”… he said no criticism. Just, it’s bad. Ok, go in detail of why.

@@TotalbadassX not really, she just has a more nasally voice. It’s not bad at all, and its not something you see much which is why it might sound weird to you. It’s something I don’t think she can control. “Just like your iq. You look dumb and should be sent back to third grade. That’s just my opinion”. I put it in quotes because I don’t personally feel that way about you because idk you. But I am using it as an example that saying something is “honest” or “my opinion” doesn’t make hate ok. And trying to defend it instead of cover it up is gross and disgusting.
When backvocals sounds better than main artist thats the bad signal.
