PITCH SHIFTER "Submit" [Full EP] [1995 Reissue]

- The second EP from Pitch Shifter and the last release in their original "death industrial" style, originally released in 1992 on Earache and subsequently reissued a few years later with the silence around the formerly hidden track "Silo" removed and a pair of live tracks recorded in 1994 ("Deconstruction" from this EP and "Landfill" from their first LP) as bonus tracks. This version features the same colour scheme as the original CD, but I believe there was another pressing done with gold lettering and a red-coloured back insert.
Tracklist:
00:00 - Gritter (Version)
04:03 - Deconstruction
07:59 - New Flesh P.S.I. (Remix)
13:17 - Bastardizer (Remix)
17:03 - Dry Riser Inlet (Version)
21:22 - Tendrill (Version)
25:05 - Silo
28:58 - Deconstruction (Live)
34:04 - Landfill (Live)
Everything went to shit for this band after Desensitized. This ep remains the peak of what was a really cool sound. I still love the tone of the lead guitar on this work. The rattling percussion and gritty bass just still sounds so good all these years later.
Infotainment? was fucking awesome.
@@plymouth491 meh. I may try to listen to it again but I remember hating it.
Skin Limit Show had ex-PS members and a couple good releases.
@@plymouth491 Definitely their last enjoyable album imo
do you know of fall of because? its pre godflesh. you gonna love it

I found Fall Of Because at Barnes And Noble of all places in the mid 90's hungry for more Godflesh material. It was released on Bill Laswell's label I believe. I loved hearing the original versions of "merciless" "life is easy" and "devastator"
fantastic flashback! Bastardizer is the one that roped me in years ago. "Because there comes a time when you have nothing left to give those who regularly feed from you"
"I taste, your talking lies"
the release that got me into this band. the full length after this wasn't bad either.
GREAT EP SHOULD HAVE STICKED TO THIS STYLE . LOVED HEAVY DARK INDUSTRIAL MUSIC THESE GUYS AND GODFLESH PUT OUT INCREDIBLE FIRST 2 ALBUMS THEN BOTH KIND OF WENT KIND OF MAINSTEAM I GUESS.
Amen , although Godlesh have never made a bad album. This could have gone much further.
EPIC.

@Killian, thanks you've posted some great albums brining back many good memories.
Sublime Récord, Of a Industrial - MetaL - Core, energizer that !!!
touching.
Godflesh clone, but still good
Excellent band to clone!😉
Fucking tight!!!! Great shit
i think that this ep is a one of the best starting points for somebody who wants to venture from metal & punk into the world of mindbending sounds. i was 16 when it came out and i was pretty pissed off when i first heard it in 1995 that i missed three years out out of my life on a start of great sonic adventure.
I wanna see a pitchshifter "where are they now"
Yep red and copper text, yummy!
canı olmayanlara da can verilecek..
They released an album under another name, early on? I think I listened on your channel but forgot the name of the project :(
No, not that I can find, but they did change the name from 'Pitchshifter' to 'Pitch Shifter,' which signaled a change in vocal, lyrical, as well as musical style.
Skin Limit Show has some ex_pitch shifter members
why did this awesome band become garbage after desensitized?
Pity they turned out so crap 😢
I dont know. I think there's something to be said for their other style music they created. I effing loved Infotainment, eventhough it was a departure.
@@torreylong7436 infotainment was the last decent psi album
The cover artwork is lame
FUCK OFF...
you are lame
Kinda agree
why?
