I watched Trainspotting at the cinema years ago, bought the DVD and watched it ova and ova lol 😀🇬🇧✌️.
This is one of my favourite scenes in cinema. Danny Boyle uses all his God given directing talent to show just how people can appear when they are 'wired' on whizz.

Surely a performance like this in a job interview would have gotten you a front facing job in almost any industry, at least as a greeter or in a callcentre. Talking about the 90s which had more empty jobs than ever before from the booming economy. Maybe not against some old stick up their butt teacher types interviewing you but something like travel definitely appreciates an over the top sales pitch. Regardless it fitted the scene and is legendary in showing how awkward job interview are, especially for those who want to stay on the dole!

@Maiahi Craignewton is the area where he went to school. Scottish slang is to call the area Craigy. For example I lived in a town called Portobello and we called the area and the school Porty. It's the kind of language someone like Spud would use. Very informal and accurate.

As someone who welcomed the dole after college, I can relate to this.
