Although there are people explaining it already, i think it would be betther to have all the piglin info in one comment so here we go:
Zombie Pigman are no more, they've been upgraded to Piglins, Zombified Piglins and Piglin Brutes
Piglins spawn in crimson forests and nether wastes (the default nether), they are agressive if you're not wearing gold, but if you mine gold or open chests near them they will become aggro even if you are wearing gold
You can barter with them throwing gold ingots near them (they will accept any gold item, but will only give you something in return if you give them ingots, and babies will only steal it), they are afraid of soul fire and zombified piglins, occasionally hunt Hoglins and are enemies of Wither Skeletons
Piglin Brutes are always agressive, stronger and tankier than regular piglins, they spawn in a new structure made of blackstone, they wear black clothing and use axes. You cannot barter with them.
Hoglins are the big boar things, they can be found in crimson forests as well, they eat crimson fungus and are afraid of warped fungus.
All of the above are afraid of nether portals, and if brought to the overworld they will be zombified as the overworld air is toxic to them
Zombified Piglins behave exactly like Zombie Pigman did, just dont hit them and you're good, if you're having trouble to figure out if they are zombified or not, look for the half-exposed skull on their faces
Zoglins are the zombified hoglins, they dont spawn naturally and attack anything that comes near them.
I know that's a lot to read, but i hope this helps and that this isnt too backseaty.

1:20 when you die mobs can you pick up your items and can even wear your armor so a mob probably put on your armor and is walking around in it somewhere down there
So some bastard is possibly down there with my full set of diamond armour? will have to go get it back!
Hoglins "the boars of the nether" are afraid of warped fungus so if u place them around your portal they won't come close, kinda like how creepers are afraid of cats

Small tip for nether gold. If you use silk touch on them you can then smelt the ore and get a full bar. You will get nuggets when you use an unenchanted pick or one with fortune.
Zombiepigmen are naturally friendly even without wearing any gold armor they've been like that since it's inception
the things in the lava are striders. if you saddle one AND have a fishing rod with a bit of warped fungus to steer it, you can ride one across lava to another nether biome. they move slower on "land" because they get cold (change colour and shiver). they will ride on another as will their young (shivering from the cold). yes, you can take them back home with you...
Tunneling is the safest way to go distances in the nether, you just have to have quick reflexes in case you dig into a pocket of lava, because remember the lava in the nether moves as fast as water in the overworld.
The moss block is worth the trade. A crimson forest is not safe! The boors are called hoglins. With obsidian and glowstone you can build something useful it acts like a bed in the overworld. Build a small tower or dig down to defeat hoglins and piglins will attack hoglins if you are wearing gold and they attack you. The lave mobs is called Striders you can ride them with a saddle and a fungus on a fishing pole.

How not to get lost in minecraft101:
A scompass It is an excellent way of marking out the way back to your portal or a defensive room.
The scompass was introduced by a minecrafter called Skizzleman. What you do is this: using a block that is not naturally generated in the biome you are in, put two (or three) blocks down, one on top of another. Then put a torch on top and one on the side of the block that is facing your portal (if you are in the nether) or the entrance of the cave. Head off in whichever direction you need too. Next time you get to a spot where you change direction, or can barely see the other scompass, you place another. Like before, you place a torch on top and on the side that points your previous scompass. Then repeat.
This really helps you not to get lost. The scompass points you home. They are great for the nether or when you are caving.

Place copper rods on fences or blocks away from wooden builds so lightning strikes them and doesnt burn down your railway. The rods have a certain range, so you might want to use a couple spaced apart from each other around your builds.
Ghasts spawn in nether waste, along with nether fortress, thats the biome from the old minecraft version.
Warped forest biome spawns endermen, and has purpleish colored blocks.
Basalt deltas are the toughest as they spawn magma cubes and are really hard to navigate, you will see why 😂
Also, when possible craft a fire resistance potion to keep as backup in case u ever fall in lava, those hoglins, nether pigs can boop u off the edge so be careful when looking out or just bridging.
Another thing, you can craft respawn anchors that lets you set spawn in the nether, u need crying obsidian, normal obsidian and glowstone blocks to creft them. Look up the recipe, i am forgetting it abit. Crying obsidian can be obtained from ruined portals or by bartering with piglins. Once crafted only use the anchors in the nether by clicking it with glowstone blocks to fill it up. 4 is the max, and then click with an empty hand to set spawn there. You can mine them up if you want to change spawn locations.
Respawn anchors sound incredibly useful! As does the copper rods, will look into it all now, thanks!
The reason the anvil recipe didn't appear in the crafting table for you after you made iron blocks and unlocked the new recipe for it, is that you have to close and reopen the crafting table interface to get the new recipes to load into the recipe book.
BTW you gave me several heart attacks the way you were blithely running around the nether at the edge of the cliffs over the lava lake and kept mining blocks right under your feet. I was sure you were going to fall in lava sooner or later! But you made it out only to be immediately killed by a creeper, lol.
Creeper had some comical timing for sure!
You should leave a trail of torches so you dont get lost

Yo just got here, build recommendation, my water highway, to make you need oak slabs, have 3 block high pillars with 2 double slabs in the center for signs and also a bottom piece so drowned can't get in
Warped fungus can be combined with a fishing net to ride striders the things that walk on lava u need a saddle to ride them though
That chest in a crimson forest is very dangerous. Also, smacking the zombified piglin gave me a flashback to losing one of my first hardcore worlds.
Great video as always! Some tips you may be interested in.
1. Any type of plant blocks (besides wood) like leaves, shroomlight, haybales etc. are faster to mine with a hoe.
2. There are two types of pigmen (or piglins officially); the normal and the zombified. The zombified basically works like old zombie pigmen. Normal piglin aggros if you dont wear gold armor or if you mine gold near them. They turn zombified when brought to the overworld. The boars are called hoglins, basically just to there for quick food.
3. The creatures chilling on the lava is the strider. They're friendly. You can put saddle on them and control them with a warped fungus on a stick, like pigs would.

Piglins turn to zombiepigmen when in the overworld
Build and smithing table to use armor templates on your armor its purely for esthetic use it uses ores and crystals
Mobs pick up armor sometimes. Wear gold and don’t open chests in the nether around piggies
There are five biomes in the nether, your in the waste lands and crimson forest, lucky with the soul sand you normally have to find a soul sand valley biome. Put some lighting conductors on tour bridges, we don't want a fire now do we.

You can put a carpet of any color on the llamas, the designs will change
The lava creatures are friendly. You can ride them too if you have a saddle andi think its a warped fungus on a stick. Its the best way to travel across lava but its super sketchy to me. And sadly, the only way to get the saddle back is to send the "strider"(the name of the creature) to heaven!

@fogey_ yeah and they turn a blueish purpleish color when not in lava and they shiver. They are perfectly safe :)

You can ride on lava too! Maybe it has something to do with that fishing rod recipe you unlocked at the beginning of the episode? 😉

Just merge all your diamond tools cuz repairing it cost more diamond than making a new one. After merge, you'll get a bit of durability. Just be careful with the enchanted one. You'll lose the enchantment if you do it wrong.. And get mending and unbreaking III as soon as u can.
It never siezes to amaze me how people can't tell piglins and ziglins apart. Isn't it obvious? The sounds and textures are completely different. Yet I keep seeing new players call them both ziglins.
