Elan Valley walk - Dams, Crugyn Ci & Moelfryn Mawr

Exploration of some of the Elan Valley dams near Rhayader Mid Wales. We then do a circular walk from Penygarreg dam up into the Cambrian Mountains to the summits of Crugyn Ci & Moelfryn Mawr. Amazing 360 views of the Brecon Beacons, Southern Snowdonia, the Cambrian mountains including Drygarn Fawr and Pumlumon Fawr and upper Wye valley all the way to Hay Bluff.

So good to see you all in the Elan Adam. For sure Penygarreg into the Garreg Du gorge is awesome. A lot of people go for the down below experience because the valleys are just so epic. This is of course a tiny part of the Cambrians - trust me they're big and there's loads to discover but your walk on the top was good. See you back out there. Mark

@@WyeExplorer Thanks mark yes I agree the valleys were as good as the hill tops. It was a great 360 view point from there. You’re absolutely right the Cambrians are vast and a wilderness in parts that would take a lifetime to explore fully. We only saw a small part from there but it’s inspired me to return for sure. I love the unexplored nature of it and how quiet it was. Best wishes mate
