LoL I remember the music ! A lazer disk game with the limited c64 memory and capabilities This was a strange conversion and nothing to do with the original indeed but they did an ok job with it in my opinion :)
Way better than nes version in any means, here at least developers try to entertain player by making every segment of a game a little bit different than the last one , where nes version only exist to annoy unawere players by cheap deaths.
Jesus this game was tough when I was 8. Never made it past the second stage.

God, I loved this game.
Even with all the disappointment of it not being like the arcade.
I never could make it past the very first jump in the game. The controls are so hard to work with in those kind of stages.

NES has really few real arcade port. Almost all have been modded to platformers with non arcade music etc
