My three girls were more spread out than your family but I remember the chaos that coming home from camping caused. I would have a bag of dirty laundry ready to be taken straight in and put in the washing machine as soon as we got home.
My parents actually live in their RV and travel! Covid put a huge damper on their travel plans though because they wanted to spend winters in warmer states and we live in Canada. They started doing this the fall before covid hit. 😅😅 I could never live in an RV with the kids and our dog, I think I’d go crazy in the small space. I’d enjoy it for a while if it were just me and my husband though!!

My husband and I work like this to empty our camper. I empty things into baskets, my husband runs them into the house. I clean up in the camper as I go. Our 2 girls don't camp with us anymore so it is a little more laid back now. We did have great family trips. When we were living in IL, we took a 2 week trip to Yellowstone (stopping at other historic sites along the way) then we came home a different route. Best camping trip ever

Also...regarding laundry and odds and ends. Do you have a separate group of towels, dishes, spoons and things that you use for your camper or bring home stuff? We use old towels, towels from thrift stores and dollar general. We purchased silverware from ikea, pots and pans from thrift store. I keep a collapsible hamper or 2 in the camper...take dirty stuff out in it. I wash it, fold it and put back in the hampers (after spraying them out) then just put them back in the camper. It helped cut down having to pack up the camper when the things were already in there. Dishes 😁
We live in NE Ohio and we had a few fall days so far but still in the 70s almost 80. It looks like we will get in the low 60s next weekend and I'm living for it. We had a very hot/humid summer and I'm over it. Great video.
I always organise our laundry before leaving vacation so that it’s separate in colours/darks/lights etc! My husband thinks I’m mad but like you say it’s so overwhelming getting it all done xxx
I have always wanted to travel in an RV. It depends on age of kids and how well they get along an how well you are organized. I would definitely do a couple months if you could while their little it would make great memories.

First you should try the Chilli seasoning that comes in a little brown box. It is delicious 😋 my bathroom stays messy for 1 reason there isn't any storage in it.
I have our trailer stocked 100% with everything but liquid/canned food/fridge and freezer food. We have clothes, bedding, toiletries, a few toys, and everything else we need that won't' be damaged or spoil in between trips. I just need to load up a few reusable grocery bags for fridge and freezer foods, board games and any electronics we bring for each trip. When we get back from camping I wash the bedding and clean it and put the bedding back on the beds so it's ready to go every time. It's so worth it to do this. I need to switch out the warm weather clothes for cool weather clothes the next time we go camping. I wouldn't want to take everything out and put it all back in every time. I would forget half the stuff we use every time. It took me a few days to pack the bulk of the stuff we need and then I still add and adjust every time we go and we've had our trailer for almost 5 months now.

I can't be bothered to load and unload so much stuff at all. :'D We also go on very short notice trips more often than not so I think that makes a huge difference in me keeping it put together all the time versus loading and unloading each time.
I've gone through and watched basically all of your videos on this channel since my kids got back into school for the year in between getting things done around my house. You're the only cleaning channel I've wanted to watch for a while now. I've caught up completely on them now and am watching them as you post them again. :-)

The muffin mix is really good. My kids love it when I use the muffin mix to make pancakes too. I used to live in an rv with another person and two small dogs and I was miserable so I couldn't do that again unless I was by myself

Not as much rain yet surprisingly, but its so freezing in the morning already, and during the day its definitely fall weather!! We have lived/traveled with two small kids in a 40ft motor home for a whole month and its fun, kids absolutely love it. But I def cant imagine doing that in a small rv even with our two kids lol
1000% after kids are grown I could live in an RV but I agree I couldn’t do it with kids. We home schooled last year due to Covid and a new born and it was terrible! We live in our camper that is similar to yours (Salem cruiselite). As a family of 5, it took us a month to adjust to living minimally. We absolutely love it and our routine is pretty much the same. Give it a try over summertime and see how you like it☺️
I think living in an rv would be so much fun, i probably would want to try it for six months first to get use to it, but just being out in the open world would be amazing. Funny alot of people say they want to do it. I don't know why my bathroom mirror is dirty every day, I tell my family that when they wash their hands they must be flailing their hands aroud. We have hit fall over here on the west coast lol. Where I live the high will be in the low 60’s this week. And a chance for snow on Tuesday and Wednesday. I’m super excited because fall and winter truly makes me happy!! I’m also trying to soak it all up before we move back home to GA next month. 😂

We love the blueberry cheesecake & strawberry cheesecake muffins 😋 I use 2packs to make 6 good sized muffins & wrap them for quick breakfast next couple days. Dishes. We lived in our RV for five years, at first it was fun, but, it got old fast. We now live in a two bedroom apartment.
