Seems like a nice little game. Where do you find all these cards and dice games?

      How old is this game?
You probably know that there was a time in England where the Ace of Spades was taken out of the Deck, and you only got it if you paid the tax.
Was this made up because of that?

Cool looking game! Can it be played with more players by adding the rest of the cards? Has that been tried?

You could play with up to 10 players using the full deck. Either leave out both black aces, or leave them in and allow the first player left of the dealer to exchange cards in their hand for one or both of the cards undealt.

The reason this game doesn't use the ace of spades is to do with when 7 people are playing: when 7 people play, all 35 cards get dealt out, thus cutting the luck factor of not dealing out the entire deck.

If you can find a Dishonored Tarot card deck I would love a video on how to play the Game of Nancy. That game has always confused me

There are Togolese, Beninnois, Cameroonian, Malian, and Nigerien variants as well. Depending on number of cards used, point totals, whether betting is involved or rounds played it can be a pretty varied game.

Why not just deal five cards to each player? What's the purpose of dealing three, and then two?

It's a touch faster than dealing each card one-by-one, and it's customary in card games from some parts of the world-just not in the English-speaking world for the most part.
