I don't think getting the same amount of gold from solo raids as Korea is a good decision, specially considering that new players (or even returning players) CAN'T play Akkan Normal due to gatekeeping... basically they can't progress past 1600 (I mention Akkan bc they nerfed brel and kay gold)
Exactly bringing players in is the goal not current players since they will keep playing anyway
It is nonsense, even bigger nonsense is nerf of group content bellow Akkan, it is just pure bullshit. Imagine doing Kakul solo which is possibly harder than in group (because you have for example do 2x Mario and solo bingo, so you have to know exactly what you are doing) and get for that 900g, that is complete joke.
Buff to Akkan was mentioned in the notes with Henry, it's intentional.
same thing happened in Kr months ago. New raids give way more gold and that was applied to Akkan. To reward players for doing higher content
@@SadBruh543 bruh, now Akkan Hard gives 2k more than Ivory Tower and they are the same ilvl. While Akkan normal gives more gold than Thaemine normal 1-2. Makes no sense. Also it completely removes any reasons to play solo Akkan and makes it so much more depressing. 8500 vs 3300 is an insane difference.
Mixed feelings on this. Not sure its enough to get me to return to the game since my overall issue of the time requirements, lobby sim, and rng systems are still there. Might just call it a day on the game overall. I've seen T4 and I can't say that I am super excited for it either even with two 1620s.
T4 just introduces even more gatekeeping, rng gold sinks, and hw lol
I promise you thegame won't get better, I'm coming back to dabble with solo raids try a new class but I don't think i'll last a month since it's the same old but worse.

Solo raids shouldve given 100% nm gold (50 tradable, 50 bound)
Sorry but just fly through fact, that there is massive gold nerf for Kayangel and Brel which are two big gold sources for 1600 chars, but you are so excited about 1k extra gold from Akkan? Is this sponsored stream? Players who were doing Brel and Kayangel HM lost 5600g per char weekly (and I am not counting Brel G4 to that), but you are like "This have to be mistake, it is amazing we got 1k gold, wooooow". If you are under 1610, you do not have 3 non-nerfed gold earning raids, this nerf could be with T4, but do it now is bullshit.

They gutted the raid gold. Anyone that's 1600ilv they can't even take advantage of the event. Solo mode gives only 40%... Lame
You can always quit. And come back the game isnt going anywhere
1600 supposed to play the game normally and doing raids with other people , solo is for new players that normally never accept in any raid and had to get bus , so compair to getting bus , solo raid's gold is GREAT .
@@s.a4034 Yeah not sure why people are crying over the solo raid content. I guess they expected too much on the solo raids... they are expecting getting at least 75% of the gold and extra matts
@@RagingDrone I did quit. I was looking to return. But my main is 1600, I can't even activate the thing. Solo raids are great yes, I agree, but the gold amount combined with gold nerfs (because you're getting 40-50% of the nerfed rates, not the current rates) is lower than Id like.
@@GFClocked my gunlancer is 1600 with no elixir (i think he is 27) no LOS 30 (i think he is LOS 28) and still I am still able to get in at Theamine. Cant get any raids in Echidna. But I don’t sweat it. You just need people to play with. If you don’t have people to play with lets play together. Im in nineveh. And in a support main 1620 with no elixers, LWC and lvl 9 gems with lvl 7

Nah man, just make sure to claim everything on that character . (Powerpass , gems etc)
They really need to give roster gold instead of nerfing old contents gold. New players and returning players still getting fucked.
tldr, if you have 1610 alts you got a slight gold buff, 1600 alts slight nerf, 1580 doesnt matter youre getting gatekept..hone to 1600, and 1540s are just unplayable outside of chaos and guardian(which is prob more gold/hr than raiding now)
it's not just me, everyone expected more from solo raids, or at least 50% of the gold we get rn before the update. imagine a new player with 1 character earning 3900 gold from all 3 raids they can do (brel kakul vykas with the power pass they just got), they will still be stuck for some time on that place, if they did this in sept patch that would be understandable since the new players would've reached a good spot before the news hit them, not many people looking forward to the game +might not even be that interested anymore guess I'll not make any new characters and just try to hone the 2 I have. anyways good content brother, keep it up
I expected a bit more gold from solo raids for west, because we simply need it, but mainly I did not expect nerf of Brel and Kayangel for all types of raid, that is just complete nonsense, because it is important gold source for 1600 characters. Basically at this point if you are under 1610, you do not have even 3 non-nerfed gold earning raids, that is in our situation where we are loosing players week after week complete stupidity.

@@Screen-Peeks I mean yea, but what's the point, even if a person found nm brel learning lobby and did ony 1 and and 2nd gate they would earn more than all the raids a 1520 solo player (new player that just got a powerpass and is fresh to the game) can do rn (brel vykas kakul) 3 of them comes out to be 3900 and brel G1 and G2 comes out to be 4500 NM (before update) I'm not saying this update is useless, I'm saying it's a bit underwhelming
Aimed at new players, seems good. People always want more than last time, not sustainable.

Altought it might help some new players, I as a returning player, trying to take my firts character to the real end game (thaemine and echidna), wont help at all!
My alts might benefit but with the solo raids lauch, the lobbies will be more scarce and the gatekeeping will be stronger, and they simply gutted the gold from solo raids, EX: Akkan and Ivory tower giving less than 40% total gold....
Amazing how AGS even trying to do good, can give with one hand and take with the 2 hands, plus giving a boot in the ass with the 2 feet.
I mean there needed to still be an incentive for group content. Many will take the gold cut simply for convenience of play. If you don’t like that trade off, well group content is still there for you lol. As for alts, they all get a free 5x3 with lvl 7 gems soo you shouldn’t get gatekept outside of akkan really and for that…. Well now there’s solo mode. Pluses all around really

YOU CAN SOLO BUT YOU CANT SKIP AND GO TO HIGHER RAID IF YOUR ILVL AINT THE SAME (MEANS LOWER THAN SUPPOSE TO BE)

WD is actually most complete class in the game, i suggest you to try it in endgame
