- Liverpool came from behind with two late goals to overcome ten-man Bolton Wanderers and avoid becoming the latest high-profile FA Cup scalp.
Neil Danns second-half sending off proved the turning point as Eidur Gudjohnsen’s penalty was cancelled out by Raheem Sterling. Philippe Coutinho’s spectacular stoppage time strike secured the Reds a Fifth Round trip to Crystal Palace.
Having failed to break down the Bolton defence at Anfield over a week ago, Brendan Rodgers named an attacking line-up with Raheem Sterling spearheading Lazar Markovic, Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho up front.

Everyone talks about there being a new SAS but with Sterling instead of Suarez, but for me it's CAS, Coutinho and Sterling. They are great together and the fact that Sturridge is back now makes it even more frightening!

The fact that coutinho's goal went in despite the deflection no matter how small showed how good a shot it was. Genius. We're lucky rodgers and team spotted his talent and he will be a liverpool great.

More than two years on and I've got to say Sterling was massive in this game. Even though they had their disputes, Rodgers was really good for his development. Shame (for his footballing career) that he had to go to City. Imagine him under Klopp today. Wish he had had a better attitude in those months.

Hullensian I'm sorry mate but l think what happened was that Coutinho stepped up to hit it and as he did, catched his foot onto the Bolton Wanderers foot, but in no way shape or form was that a deflected goal. Pure class, the technique and direction was there so no deflection mate! :)

Your an idiot, and your comment makes no sense. Liverpool outplayed Bolton the whole game and scored 2 deserved goals. Bolton got a bullshit penalty from a dive. And aside from the red card (which was fully deserved) the refs were calling almost everything in Bolton's favor. The linesman alone made 2 or 3 bad offside calls against Liverpool in goal-scoring situations. Bolton were lucky that the score wasn't 6-0 because that's what it should have been.
