The shortest length barrel for a mid length gas system I think would be around 13 or 14. I have a mid length on my 14.5 with a standard buffer and gas block with 0 issues.
Just curious if you could go through the pros and cons of different barrel materials and grades. Also maybe discuss the multiple surface treatments. I have read about them but would like your take.

I’m starting to put together an ultralight carbine build. I’m leaning towards a 14.5” lightweight Hanson, but torn between the 416R and the 4150 barrels. I like the idea of the 1:8” twist rate, but not sure if stainless is the best choice for the heat and abuse of a Carbine class. What are your recommendations?

Is there any downside to using a thread protector on your 8.3” 9mm barrel instead of a brake or flash hider when putting together an AR pistol?

Hahaha, y'all are too funny! Can only imagine how much fun y'all have putting these Q&A videos together. I'll tell you what, I wish some fall temperatures would kick in here in NC. Hit 100 yesterday and 95 today...I'm ready for Fall-like weather. QUESTION: What kind of life expectancy(round count) on the 22" Premium SS 6.5 Creedmoor barrels in your experience? Would you recommend any particular cleaning schedule? Thanks as always for answering our questions and brightening up the end of our week!
What do you suggest to use when installing a gas block? Locktite, Rocksett or something else?
You guys are in Orlando right? Because I'd hate to tell Sarah that fall is a non-existent season in Central Florida.
I know I know! It's not without struggle that we get into the fall spirit here in the land of "always summer", BUT! This is why fall decor, PSL's and constant talking about fall are all so important!
I reached out to Superlative Arms and they stated there is a flat spot milled along the sides of their set screw bleed off gas blocks for pinning. Does BA pin Superlative bleed off gas blocks upon request if the barrel and gas blocks are purchased from BA?
13.7 " mid length " hanson profile is it ever coming out? Is it a bad idea? If it is a bad idea y does solgw have a 13.7 mid length? I would buy that but I want the amazing hanson profile!!! Not a govt profile !

Ok - I do have a few questions - I built a sweet 11.3 AR using your Hanson LOW PRO .625 barrel - My favorite rifle out of the 5 I have. Is the only difference between the .625 Low pro Hanson and the .750 - simply weight savings or is the .750 more rigid equaling more durability ?
Second question - any ETA on the handguards ? Have decided to purchase your 12.3 Hanson barrel for another pistol build and wanted to see what you guys were offering before I picked up another BCM handguard.

Faxon did a 11.5 mid. I live in a suppressor free state so I don't want a suppressor barrel, but maybe someone else does.
You guys should do the Avengers theme. Clint can be Thor Of Ragnarock and Sarah you should be Black Widow . Clint should also get the Thor hair cut. Just joking Lol. I'm with Clint I don't like hoodies either, but I would definitely buy and rock a BA limited addition if you guys put one out !

For a question. For dedicated suppressor host. Looking into getting one shortly. Would you recommend the 11.5" or 12.5" barrel and which suppressor would you recommend? I'm leaning towards the Surefire SOCOM but would like your opinion. Thank you.

Sorry guys, I am out, can't watch y'all anymore.. This newer format of videos is not working for me at all. I say new, but it's been several months. You're losing credibility as far as education and instruction and have settled into this odd nesting as in some sort of sister and brother dialog which, has nothing to do with barrels. You guys just don't seem serious to me anymore, which leads me to wonder about you in house processes and commitments to quality. The current videos are a distraction from your products, performance and quality. When was the last time you produced how-to videos or talked about replacement barrels for DMR or SAPR or just maybe something new such as replacements for Mossberg and Savage barrels, How about a facility tour showing us barrel production. Let's see Sarah install some components or something rather than the current dialog. Take her out in the field and shoot some hogs on video for marketing purposes. She should be good to go with hunting right? Shoot at distance at targets please!!! Something different. Let's see her use the product in real time and talk about accuracy and consistency . Something more product aligned please!!! I was initially drawn to your channels for instructional use. Sorry it's been bothering me for a while. Just had to say something since I have purchased your barrels previously.
