This is my first time of watching your talk. It caught my eye that you had the stocking from Arne and Carlos advent 2023. I am also doing the KAL . I love the looks of both your Christmas stocking. It is my first time doing a knit along and also first for colorwork.
Just happened upon your podcast. Enjoyed seeing what you’ve knit. I too did the Arne and Carlos sock a long. I celebrate Christmas. Looking forward to your next podcast.
Yes, I do celebrate Christmas. I just happened upon your channel. It was a video teaching how to do knitting stitches I think. I’ve known how to knit for many many years but it has always intimidated me so I’m hoping you can help me learn some things that I need to know to be able to knit better.
Just stumbled upon your podcast! I enjoyed seeing your beautiful works. My family celebrates Christmas. Each year we pick a different country and make some of the foods from each one. It’s a highlight of our thanksgiving dinner to select our Christmas country. I am looking forward to your next podcast and viewing previous ones too!
Merry Xmas from Tasmania Australia. Thanks for sharing your progress on the stocking. I messed up my heel and the top colour work around day 23 but it’s my first try at short row heel, toe up and colourwork too so I consider it a practice piece. Well it’s in two pieces because I knit the leg seperate so I could fix the heel and join it to the leg if I wanted. I knit solid green stripes in between the larger motifs to keep up with the KAL too. I needed the mystery and daily reveal to keep my momentum on it. I watched your video on Arne’s heel
Many firsts for you in the stocking-a-long; hurray for you for jumping in! I also enjoyed the daily reveal of the next six rows, as it was easy for me to keep up with it.
Merry Christmas! It's good to see the two of you together again. I admire all the colourwork you do -- especially socks. I can manage hats and am working on a colourwork sweater but socks -- well, I have tension troubles! I too prefer DPNs and metal ones at that, but the Knitters Pride birch ones have been good to me. The only challenge is breakage -- 2.0 mm and 2.25 mm will snap on me on sock gussets! Though I rarely use those sizes for socks, I am careful to use metal needles when the occasion arises. Yes, I celebrate Christmas -- and because my late DH was Jewish, my daughter and I still celebrate Hanukkah too (It fell before Xmas this year). I figure Jesus probably celebrated it with his family, so why not? 😊 Wishing you all the best for Christmas and the New Year -- from western Canada.
I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who breaks wooden needles! I have yet to do a stranded pair of socks for my feet, but I do have them on my wish list of things to make. Merry Christmas and Happy belated Hanukkah!
Yes, I celebrate Christmas. My Mom loved Christmas and so do I.

Welcome! What a clever way to celebrate Christmas 🎄. Happy New Year 🎊
My husband stuffed my stocking real full with yarn because of the extra heel space.
That is hilarious! Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year 🎉
