Hi Priya, thank you for your acknowledgment. Both Bsc or MSc Nursing done outside EU will work here as a Staff Nurse.
You can do various speciality courses here i.e. Pain Nurse, Bariatric Nurse, Breast Nurse, Heart failure Nurse etc.

Yes, RCSI will give you study materials and practical samples once you book your exam.

Unfortunately, there is no specific book for preparation. Most of the candidates prepares from NCLEX. For sample questions you can visit RCSI website.

Sorry, you need to have Critical skill employment permit to apply for family visa.

Yes, you will get accommodation. If not then you can arrange your own accommodation and can apply for reimbursement later.

Don’t worry about it. In most of the hospitals employer will arrange for it. If not, you will definitely find something. It’s hard but not impossible.

Hi, your welcome. Adaptation program is of 6 weeks. Getting pin no is different for everyone. It takes around 3-10 days.

Hi, Yes you can apply to both nursing homes and hospitals if you have a valid NMBI Decision letter.

For the first 6weeks th nurse Is under supervision. Then after 6month, they work as a HCA until the pin is recieved.

It’s different for APTITUDE and ADAPTATION. My previous reply was for Aptitude exam because you commented on Aptitude video. So I assumed that you are asking about Aptitude.
For Adaptation, you will work under supervision of a Nurse for 6 weeks and during that period you will work as an Adaptation Nurse. Hospital will pay you for the same.
After completion of your Adaptation, you need to wait for your pin.
Meanwhile if you like you can work as a health care assistant. Hospital will pay you as per your working hours as a health care assistant.

Hi, thank you for the appreciation. Clinical experience is not required for NMBI registration.
Dont they provide prepration help like they do in the UK before you sit an OSCE?
Employer will not provide any preparation for Aptitude test. Some agencies helps you to prepare.
You don’t need any preparation for Adaptation test.
@@alishainireland do we either opt for adaption or the apptitude test and who is to decide that ? Is it upon the candidate or NMBi decides if you are going to opt for adaption or RCSI apptitude? Also are flights and visa paid for by the employer like it is in the u.k or that depends?
Employer is the one who chooses our exam. Expenses depends upon employer some pays in advance while other reimburse it after you clear your exam.

Hi Aneel, I am good. Hope the same for you. It completely depends upon the employer and agency. Some of them sponsor beforehand, while others reimburse the cost later.

Hi, if you already have an employer in Ireland they will suggest you whether you have to give Aptitude exam or Adaptation.

You can bring your family after your RN PIN and Critical Skills Employment Permit (processing time always vary- approx 1 to 3 months).
