I'm an Indian Grove, my question is... Can I as a foreigner buy Freehold land in the places you are showing? Can foreigners have a FREEHOLD ownership status in these places or are you selling the parcels where its only LEASEHOLD ownership for foreigners? The reason why I'm asking this to you is because, me or any other foreigners will always prefer FREEHOLD parcels rather than LEASEHOLD parcels. Atleast I'll!!
Please acknowledge that you have read this. To knowledge foreigners can own land or any property in South Africa, title deeds. thaat means you can own the land or property outright. You own it, the land is a 'thing'. However I would advise at owning land or agricultural property in your personal capacity, rather have the land be owned by a legal entity such as a trust, PTY LTD and you be the majority owner. Why this way? You can save enormous costs on legal and transfer fees when selling, and can also significantly increase the time property takes to transfer ownership. My question to you is, why would any foreigner be crazy enough to own any property in South Africa? With ALL property rights (patents, intellectual, tangible etc) under threat, why would you be so crazy as to wanna invest anything in South Africa. RUN! There are many countries where your money and skills are welcomed. Another thing is your ability to participate in economic activity is based on color of your skin. It is official government policy and in legislation. Black Africans patrons of ruling cANCer party have the preference. Will you invest in Zimbabwe? I know I would not. The same process of eliminating private land ownership that happened in Zimbabwe is right now happening in South Africa., Legislation has been sent to parliamenent that will totally decimate South Africa's sophisticated banking system, give any goverment official (local, provincial or national) the decision to expropriate land without compensation. The time for public submititions for/against the legislation has passed. Fortunately the consitution enforces public opinion, and when public opinion is against the legislation then it weill be struck from the roll. Uncertainty will last until about 10/2021 then we will finally know if South Africa will for certain be the next Zimbabwe.
