    Get a spray bottle with water and washing up liquid in it. Run it all round the rim of the tyre, over the tyre and around the valve and watch for bubbles and you’ll soon find where the air leaks from.

    Recently came across you're videos and you've helped me out a lot. Ive been riding a Suzuki GSX150f for about 7 years now and as a 25 year old its not cutting it anymore and with the issues its giving me at 35 000km its time for a trade in, and ive found a great condition CBF600S that I will hopefully be picking up in the next week! You sold me on getting this bike 2nd hand over a brand new 250cc.

    Did anyone swap the camshaft from Hornet for additional 20hp?

    I bought a 2009 version as a first bike a couple of weeks ago and I was wondering if it sounds okay. Everything seems fine, but has some sort of zooming sound when driving. Brakes have been checked, there's a new chain and sprockets, so I can't figure out if it's supposed to sound the way it does. Any ideas?

    • @pedroreprezas

      Difficult to assess the ZOOM sound but I wouldn't worry too much about it, but get someone that knows bikes to take a listen.

    How it compares to the NC (700 or 750 X or S, DCT?). In regards to MPG, maneuverability, Power? Is the DCT of the NC worth it over the cbf manual

      Very difficult choice indeed.
      The only reason I swopped was so I could keep up with faster bikes.
      NC has a lot of torque, completely different riding altogether, CBF wins on street cred and top speed otherwise NC makes a lot more sense, particularly mine in DCT with ABS and a digital dash.

    Have you changed the exhaust as I'm looking to change mine but don't seem to find anything in South Africa for this model. If you can refer me or point me in the right direction of where i can get the exhaust change i would appreciate it

    • @pedroreprezas
      @pedroreprezas  Рік тому +1

      To be honest with you my video on the M4 exhaust will show you the sound but the results are not the best. I've picked up a flat spot at low RPMs and the noise levels are very uncomfortable on long trips.
      I did this to save money and honestly regret it even though it sounds and looks good, seems the maping on the computer would have to be flashed for better results, there are proffesional exhaust fitters in Boksburg I'm not sure where you from.
      My advice rather spend the money alternatively get an exhaust that has a little more back pressure.

    Did u feel any vibration at 4,5-6000 rpm’s? Because mine vibrate a lot and I can’t find what it is…

    • @pedroreprezas
      @pedroreprezas  Рік тому

      I think mine vibrates a little too at those RPMs but I changed exhaust now so it is difficult to be honest because of the noise, it does smooth out the higher it goes though.

      @@alexandrosgeorgalis7900 If it smooths out as you rev it higher you shouldn't worry about it, as they say "if you're looking for defects you will find them."
      Honda has assured me these bikes go on forever that I should never sell it and I'm starting to believe them.
      Go check my more recent videos and appreciate the modifications I've made, the CBF 600S truly does keep up with the big guys and looks the part.

      @@alexandrosgeorgalis7900 Have it checked, always worth trying to sort things out first. Could be small adjustment on cluth, might be sticking if bike was parked for long.
