I loved the way that the officer carefully considered whether answering your questions was appropriate and when he did answer, he gave honest, sensible responses. Pretty much everyone in this video emerged with credit.
Why does anyone poke their nose into places like this. Bored out of their tiny mind so they make youtube videos. I've wasted 6 minutes of my life watching this clown's video and wishing an MOD policeman would show up and kick them out.
@@taffyddu Why would the Police need to kick them out of a site when they leave when asked? Or are you Murican and get a stiffy when the guns come out?
MOD police are always professional and respectful. They are selected and trained to handle situations without escalating. They aren't incentivised to harrass members of the public. Big difference to regular civilian police grunts. Good to know these guys are there, as some things need proper protection! They knew immediately what you guys were doing, and it's no threat.

That officer and the Sergeant were really nice chaps, gave you the time of the day as well unlike the ones from before, you can clearly see why he's made it to sergeant from his professional demeanor.
That Sgt... Wow. Really quite humble isn't he? Like he had no chip on his shoulder. No ego. No pride. Straight. Just trying to do his job. But also clever. A thinking sort of person. But his position and responsibility of his job really hasn't gone to his head at all. I noticed that DJ Audits was surprised as well, once DJ realised too. Great audit. Totally. Excellent Sgt. Totally. Why can't all cops be like that Sgt. Just imagine the entire UK police services like that Sgt? Crime would be gone. But at the same time. that guy was awesome at the end! wish you had more footage with him, he looks very young to be so high up and even said not in terms of service so respect to him as he seemed very professional and deserving of his position from this.
The police are like the armed forces in a way, if your smart enough you can go in at a higher rank from the start, but still go through the same basic training as every other soldier/police officer to do so. Like sandhurst only for police. The armed police sign is very interesting as there are different colours of that same symbol, I have seen a red and a green one as well. There are also dots of different colours, what do the all mean? Probably different types of armoury and training or equipment on board, like a defib for example. No need for all the secrecy though, we pay for it. And were entitled to know what they mean. The mod police probably don't have to account for themselves the same way normal police do in that respect, using national security as their get out clause.
So I'm pretty new to the channel. I've watched about 5 videos. Out of those 5 I've seen officers Martin, Nick and now this sergeant. The Justice system in the United States is so corrupt it's unbelievable all our cops have an attitude and hate the public which Pay Them, Nice to see polite and courteous Officers definitely different than the US you guys are lucky over in the UK
It's clear to me that the more highly trained an officer is, the more effective they are at assessing risk in any given scenario and the more relaxed they are when the perceived risk is low. This officer has the tools and training to deal with whatever life throws at him and so he has no reason to be a bully or be belligerent. On the other hand, an officer who is insecure and inexperienced is much more likely to escalate unnecessarily as a result of the fight or flight response. Kudos to the sergeant.
What a fantastic contrast there! You watch some of these audits and come across some absolute tools masquerading as security. Then you watch this and everyone behaved exactly how they should. A pleasure to see!
The MOD police were " regularised " by the Home Office some years ago. This brought in the likes of the transport police, civil nuclear constabulary, Mersey tunnels police etc. They all have the same basic training, which is usually done in house, since the regional training centres were closed, with job specific additional training. MOD police are paid slightly less and their pension provision is poorer than civil police.
The MoD Police get 95% of local police. But they don’t pay for their pension, the local Police pay up to 14% for their pension and get slightly more on retirement then MoD who get half their salary. Also note the MoD are civilian police.
Yet another very good audit. The Sergeant was so serious and non commital he handled it very well but his facial expressions showed what he was thinking and I am sure he saw a humorous side and he knew you were grilling him for something juicy. When you eventually made him laugh, I too roared laughing. It was one those moments. Well done both of you with the audit. Keep it up DJ and PJ, very entertaining.
Yet another Awesome Audit, That Sgt quite clearly would love to have chatted about the questions you were asking, but very professionally chose to avoid answering anything that might even in the slightest been in breach of the 'Need to Know Basis' rule. He seemed like quite an amusing guy.

Hi, great audit there. You two make a good pair working together. Those Balfour guys showed their best side and that's the way to big up their company. Well done DJ and PJ, stay safe guys.
FYI - the five pointed star on the police can just means ARV = Armed Response Vehicle. If it's worn by an officer it means that the office is a part of a Armed Response Unit ARU. I forget what the colour of the star represents though.
Round here, the star shape on rear window is orange and looks almost like a splat from a paintball and yes its to identify to other officers that the occupants are armed.

The star symbol is used on a lot of police vehicles but varies. It mostly signifies and armed response vehicle so other officers and the helicopter can identify them easier. I know in London it's a yellow circle, not a star and in other parts of the country the star would be orange, not yellow but it depends on where you are.

@@garybell9878 Honestly, you don't know? Obstruction, nuisence, harassment, upskirting, filming a prohibited place, there is more but I think those are good to start with.
WOW! nicest copper ever :D
Remember folks licence is the noun and license the verb.
So in this case it would be licensed as in licensed premises.
The smashed Fiesta is untaxed.
Yes, just.
The star symbol is used on a lot of police vehicles but varies. It mostly signifies and armed response vehicle so other officers and the helicopter can identify them easier. I know in London it's a yellow circle, not a star and in other parts of the country the star would be orange, not yellow but it depends on where you are.
The guy in the reception can’t be doing that great he didn’t even have air pods. I’m a dinosaur and even I’ve got them. Lol

As an American, it's shocking to me that you have police that apparently aren't armed with a gun. What do they do if there are criminals? Cough politely and ask them to stop?
The country is very small so eaiser to ‘manage’ generally . We apparently aren’t as crazy as the Americans and have a lot more cctv around so crime is a little less that’s my 2 cents. Do love the states though the land and some of people , y’all are crazy folk too haha
Can tell he's ex military how he carries himself
Great interaction, police officer very professional. Nice to see. Stay safe, retired lifeboatman
DJ is lucky that being annoying isn't an arrestable offence!
