I was a session musician back in the 70s, 80s and 90s. I remember working for two weeks, at the record plant in Studio B. Next to us in Studio A was Bette Midler followed by Supertramp a few days later. In Studio C Frank Zappa was mixing an entire tour he had just finished. he never came out of the studio, he only ordered pizzas in and he slept on the couch. In Studio D Jack Bruce was recording his album, and he invited me and our Engineer. Juergen Koppers to listen to his newest mixes. It was a great time with a lot of live musicians, exciting music and very little computer crap! Rhythm machines were only used as a click for demos, but in the studio, a real drummer would play on the final recordings.
So cool Dave, that's a wild story. LA must have been a really different place back then.
It definitely was a different place back then, not so much visually, but the amount of live music was amazing!@@CharlesCleyn
I've heard them from others as well, Rick Beato did an interview recently with Tim Pierce and they discussed this.@@daveking3494
Please is it right to promote same song on different music distribution apps or sites at the same period and time?
Have you thought about a play or rock opera as a brand with songs. Sometimes singles get lost. You are just too good. 💖
Hey Lilian, never really thought of that. Sounds cool! Have you done a lot of this yourself?
@@CharlesCleyn Working on rock opera Kodiak at present. You can even apply songs that are in a dream play. Think of your journey, hardships with emotions, or a future you might want. My future is NO AI in my Eye. Hope that will make a song.
