I am enamoured with this bike, but my local Keeway dealer won't touch them! They think that the v-twin is no better than the AJS twin that was withdrawn from the UK after just 1 year. They love the Superlight....but hate the v-twin with a vengeance! Why would that be?
@Steveaga the highway star wasn't a v twin it was a parallel twin with 9.5 NM of torque and only 11.3 Bhp ... the RKV125C has 13.6 bhp (10.2Kw) with 14.4 NM of torque, which is closer to hyosung aquila 125 cc.
@@shadowrider-xg7vs my apologies regarding the slip with the AJS. Regarding the Aquilla, they liked it, but don't have the franchise for it. They ARE, however, a Keeway dealer! Go figure.
That front number plate is not legal, it should be full size and as upright as possible like mounted on the side of the fork. I wonder if the customer (who you have charged to fit the L plates) got fined then would you pay their fine?
@@philtucker1224 they had me riding a moped around at the lot of the learning school went for my taster session yesterday hoping to progress onto cbt I didn't fall on the asphalt luckily got close but I put my foot down kept calm and had another go
@@MORTEMANIMAuk yes my eldest grandson did his first CBT 2 months back (on a 125 motorbike) it was raining heavily all day unfortunately and he has never ridden a bike ever before, even off road. He did all of the morning session but couldn’t master the clutch action on that first day, so the instructor felt he wasn’t ready yet to go out on the road with the others that afternoon so he came home. Anyway he’s rebooked to do it all over again in a couple of weeks time.
I own 1 had it over a week, and it's a fantastic bike .
how fast is it
@@chrisrock4507 65mph top comfortably, 70 if you’re going downhill haha.
(after running in correctly ofc).

Pick mine up end of June. Can’t wait.😀😀😀
Love this bike! The only reservations I have is 1) the headlight - would prefer a traditional casing 2) Mild steel exhaust
Have the Red version and its pretty great, nice and comfortable especially for us shorter legged people. But isn't it 16L not 19?
it is a very nice looking bike but have heard the coolant refill is hard to get to
Are they proper air boxes or just for lookson either side 👍🏴
Is that front L plate legal, looks nice against the black mudguard.
