Mine just keeps going and going and emptying into the tank which way do you turn the knob to the right for more? It seems the same to me. I can’t get it to slow down.
Ok so here a tip. The top grey adjust knobby the collection cup, if you adjust that knob to the point that it’s basically closed and you are still overflowing then you need to adjust the control down by the pump. Close that valve a little bit and then go back to the top control and try to get that water level in the skimmer dialed in. You may have to go back and forth making adjustments until you get it. Also a consistent water level in your tank is very important. You may have to adjust the water level in your aquarium up or down as well. Hope this info helps.
@@everydayfishhobbyist8281 ok so I have to keep twisting the black and grey knobs til it stops and also it seem like the bubbles making the water increase and how do I stop it fully and also the tube that’s connected to the collection cup was pulling the water out when it was overflowing but only did it twice so idk but I appreciate the info but I feel like I wasted money 💰 again but I need help
@@everydayfishhobbyist8281 when you said dialed you mean keep twisting it but hopefully it works I’m gonna try to find more videos but thanks for the support
@@everydayfishhobbyist8281 also I got one last question if I did a water change and hook the protein skimmer up and you know how you said in the beginning it will over flow but if I had it connected to a air line tube to the tube that’s on the collection cup and it keeps taking water out could I poor that new water back or no because I be working and I appreciate the help from last time

Yes there is some trial and error as far as getting it dialed in. Keep trying to get it adjusted. Once its dialed in it does work great.@@ljcorner7393
