Trying to decide between this piece and the VC Overseas. The Hublot is more modern and the skeletonized face is much more sporty, but the Overseas is more classic by far. Price range is about the same, so I'm torn between the two. Any suggestions?
Tough choice. As you mentioned, the Hublot does give a more modern size and sporty feel while the Overseas is more classic in size and shape. The Overseas does offer more water-resistance (150m vs 100m) and is slightly smaller (41.5mm vs 45mm) and thinner. The Hublot does have a great skeleton dial and long 72 hour power reserve (verses ~52h). Overall - it would have to come down to which you like better on the wrist. Have you had a chance to try either on?
With the Vacheron you get the Geneva Seal bringing more tradition and heritage. Both are on a totally different spectrum so very hard to choose between. Let us know what you end up with!
This video seems very alarming. The watch hairspring is metallic and may be magnetized on a normal home appliances such as microwave, ref, speakers/subwoofers etc. The shock is also a concern with high impact activity such as golf, firearm, mountain bike....then when can we use the watch safely? Sleeping? Disappointing =( now I feel like not buying the watch after seeing this video
Thanks for watching our video. Don't be alarmed, the watch can definitely withstand normal use! Every watch (apart from those designed to be anti-magnetic) all have the potential to become magnetized. This does come after repeated exposure, so if you're constantly leaving your watch sitting on speakers, or on top of a microwave you may begin to see the signs of it being magnetized. The same goes for shock, if you forget to take off the watch when you're golfing once, you should be fine, but repeated shock can cause issues to automatic winding watches not deigned to withstand shock. Hope this helps!
Thanks, very good & educational video! I am going to get one BB Unico on next weekend 😊
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!

Govberg Jewelers I've tried both on, still can't decide...I currently own a Rolex Batman, which one would be a better addition to what I have?

Hublot BB will be my choice.
At this price point, a watch that can’t be worn for day to day is a joke.
The Unico has a silicon hairspring has it not? Therefore it cannot be magnetized?
Quick question can water enter through the one click strap function if there is no strap?
Shouldnt be, that should be a separate mechanism with no opening to the inside
Prix svp
