I miss Amerie's music, but I think she was robbed! That said, I hope she is doing good and maybe it's a good thing for I would hate it if she had got involved with the bad influences that many have fallen victim too.
She was swagger jacked for sure but I truly believe Amerie was educated and understood business. So you can't control or take advantage of someone who knows. So I think they were choking her out musically around her 3rd project to threaten her to comply or get lost. She chose to the latter and is independent and a best selling author. Now Amerie may not be as popular but compared to artist who were more popular but now they are broke and forgotten. Amerie definitely did something right. She been saying independent was the way. Now everybody indie and industry is on they last legs
