Dang, Adam is age 50 going on 80 lately. Golf carts, antique malls, sharing his thoughts for 30 minutes. Haha. Love ya man, big fan since the early days.
Hey Adam take it from an older lady who has collected stuff for my home over the years. It adds up really quick and everything you collect to sit out has to be cleaned. The top of those cabinets would only take you a minute or two to wipe down with nothing on it but with everything you put on it will add more cleaning time. So while those popcorn buckets might look cool, just keep in mind the time it will take to keep it cleaned, especially being in your garage. Just sharing my experiences.
Adam, thanks to your video's, my wife and I visited the Lakeland Antique Mall last November. It was so amazing we went back the next day, and spent the whole day there. We're from the UK - who knows when we'll get to visit again, but thank you so much for bringing it to our attention, and for your updates. You know, we really should have bought more. Thank you!

Hi Adam. We are watching this video right now. We are enjoying this so much. We are Disney collectors ourselves but being in California we don’t have a lot of the malls like Lakeland. We love that you are taking your time and looking at a lot of great items. I know you are still there right now but we hope you will go back again more times. That you for showing these two great Disney collectors so much great things. Thank you so much.
22:29 The big grin gives it away. This is John Davidson, singer, songwriter, and TV host for "That's Incredible!" from the early 1980s. He also played the TV Host in "Edward Scissorhands". But John Davidson has a tragic tie to the Bluegrass State via the Beverly Hills Supper Club fire, May 28, 1977. He and his band were the headlining act at the swanky, popular supper club on the Kentucky side across the Ohio River from Cincinnati. Overcrowded main ballroom to see the headliners, they crowded 12 people to 8-person round tables, doubled up non-tabled seating areas, put people in the aisles. A fire broke out in an adjacent smaller private dining area and by the time it flared people were trapped and couldn't see through the acrid polyester smoke to the exits. 165 people died that night, several from my town almost 200 miles away (the supper club was THE place to go for celebrations, women wore gowns or party dresses, men wore suits and tie). 200 people sustained injuries. Of the 165 who died, one was John Davidson's music arranger Douglas Herro. Davidson and his band members helped people nearest the stage escape through the newly but poorly laid-out green room corridor. When they went back in to lead more people out, the smoke was down from the ceiling to knee level. They began to pull guests still seated but realized they were dead. Douglas Herro was trapped by the rush of people blocking another exit on the far end of the main ballroom. Sorry to hijack the comments section!! It's a sad, tragic story that is worth a rabbit hole dive on YT. It's a subject I feel very connected to (like Dealy Plaza) and I tend to ramble.
26:32 Chilling fact about that Skynyrd album is their tour plane crashed 3 days after this album was released, killing 6 people on board. From what I remember, the album cover with flames was later changed to a photo of the band and a black background. No more flames.
Steve Gaines, one of the band's guitarists, was the one in the middle of the original album cover who - if you look at it - has his head and shoulders engulfed in flames. He and his sister Cassie -back up singer - were both killed in the crash. Their parents asked the record label to please change or alter it, which they gladly did. That particular original artwork and LP is a coveted LS keepsake to the point some scammers are reproducing them and passing them off as if they were from the original pressing & release. Caveat emptor! (Buyer beware!) LongLiveSkynyrd #Freebird
Love thrift store shopping videos. One my fav things to do on my days off. So when i can't go to them on my work days, just watch your videos. Makes me feel like I'm shopping with you. ❤🩵💙💜💚♥️
The moment Adam mentioned he was now on the hunt for popcorn buckets I just knew omg he has to go back and get that Mr Toad one! haha. I broke my no bucket rule this past year for that way too awesome to ignore Disneyland Railroad bucket, with working train whistle and headlight, and an adorable conductor Mickey sticking out the side window almost looking like Walt on opening day.🥰 I resisted for a while but I finally knew I'd regret it if I didn't see it anymore. If you know you know, haa
43 minute video on a Thursday morning? Yes please! I'm here for it! Funny thing is that I have something new to watch this afternoon and I noticed a video that's usually 30-35 minutes was only 22 minutes. Mr the Woo for the win today!
At 15:39, there’s a vintage Hagenbeck Wallace Circus poster: that stuff is selling for a premium these days! Their headquarters used to be at French Lick, Indiana, where they now have the world’s largest circus diorama.
Great video Adam. Our first trip from the UK was 1997 for the 25th and have quite a few bits of Disney collectibles from that year including that blue 25th press pack and a piece of the vinyl covering that made up the birthday cake on the castle !
The pellet with the poison's in the flagon with the dragon, the vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true. ---- Love the Court Jester and of course, White Christmas.

3:55 That just jogged my memory. Yes, in front of the long gone K-Mart in Buena Park on Lincoln & Valley View was a 25 cent merry-go-round and one of the characters you could sit on was Donald. That was likely the cast used for the ride. 🤔
I went there once a couple years back with my dad. I can’t afford to buy literally anything right now, but I was still just thinking of going back there to check out what they had now. Thanks, Adam!
I have never watched Blackbeards ghost and the whole time watching it today. I actually think you kinda look like Peter Ustinov as Blackbeard. I don’t know what it is perhaps the eyes. And beard of course. That you share very similar features for sure. You need that poster. Thanks for always somehow inspiring my entertainment choices throughout the day I love starting my days with your daily vlogs. You and Jacob the carpet bagger are my morning coffee. ☕️ go Rays! Amazed! the 50th Disney Anniversary little blue shopping bags, were 2.00 at Disney, then went down to 1.00, and one time i was there they were 50 cents, I bought a bunch, and gave them to family and friends....Good Bags to collect!! other than that, the store has a lot of nice, Disney Memorabilia, those photos were real nice. Miss the days when they would have the live TV shows at Disney. and some Great Parades!!
That place is a treasure trove of goodness!!!! I went there a few years back definitely a little overpriced but some of the things are worth it. That flight of the navigator photo is awesome. That in my opinion is a very looked over film I remember watching it over and over as a kid and as soon as Disney plus rolled out what was going to be on it back years ago I saw this movie and was so excited to watch it with my daughter great film!!!! Thanks Adam for what you do
I love the vintage Coca-Cola stuff. And, the orange bird poster with a Mickey ears, and the jackets, the big dog is cute, Euro Disney stuff are collector's items, the pictures are awesome. When you were going through those photos, just before Meatloaf, you passed over Prince Harry and Prince William with all the Disney characters. Most likely in the suite in the Grand Floridian where they stayed with Princess Diana. Since he will be King William in the future, I would have bought that one.
A comment for the youtube algorithm. That Lynyrd Skynyrd Street Survivors record album had the original cover that was pullud shortly after reease when the band's plane crashed. Hence the hefty price tag. Thanks for the videos.
