In the latest clip, Lamar Odom spoke on the circumstances surrounding his DUI arrest. The NBA star was only driving 50 MPH on the highway when he was pulled over and refused to blow into the breathalyzer, arguing that he was pulled over for other reasons. He also spoke on the final years of his NBA career before addressing his two close friends dying just days apart.

I feel that people will addiction issues should not be demonized because it's really a disease. You can get angry and it triggers a "Flare-up"
All drugs should be legalized and sold fairly cheap by the state. That way we could monitor and help those who use, instead of chasing them with the threat of prison, beatings and judgement etc. It really is a disease, just like any other life-long, chronic illness. It stays with someone forever, even if the desire to use goes away.
I personally, after 4 years sober will still get sweaty and feel endorphins and dopamine flowing through my brain just by seeing an empty baggie out on the sidewalk. I dont feel like using, but i cant imagine that feeling ever going away.

This man is one of most talented basketball players ever, he's just one of those guys that had a ton of God 🙏 given talent . But not having his father around, some mental health issues, & growing up in an area that wasn't very nurturing for a young man in the correct manner it should be really stunted his growth as a basketball player and as a man period . Sometimes it's better to struggle at things it makes us a stronger person it gives us more character and it allows us to be able to rise to the occasion through adversity. When you have all the attributes and god-given talent in the world you barely have to try to be better than everybody else in the world and you get all the way to the top but then when you're up against adversity you can't only rely on your god-given talent you need more mental toughness and you never had to acquire that ability because you were so good all those years and then it all comes crumbling down

So so many people have the same experience. It takes both of my hands to count the ones I've lost from overdosing. Two were brothers O'ding 3 days apart. Music or anything glorifying hard drugs is bogus asf as recovering opioid addict, 4 years clean and fighting every day to stay that way, knowing how that shit destroys the trust and credibility your family has in you and how it will take everything you love and care about out of your life. Ain't nothing cool,hard or gangster about that shit at all. It's a miserable F'king life. Ion wish that misery on anyone or their families. To anyone fighting that war with themselves.
