DEADPOOL BREAKS THE 4TH WALL HE KNOWS HES IN A COMIC BOOK SO TO KILL DEADPOOL YOU HAVE TO STOP READING THE COMICS
Woah.
+AwesomeAlex13 Best answer ever.
But then you revive him when you read the comic again.
+jana D This is so true :D
+jana D Amen sister it has also been proven that while deadpool can survive decapitation, wolervine cannot because his healing factor stems from his brain. Also deadpool is the most badass assassin in the comics so there is no way he would let himself get SHOT IN THE HEAD!!!!!!! Plus deadpool has the only mutant killing sword soooo...... And the ONLY reason that he died in collison of worlds is because every molecule in his body was simultaneously destroyed so there was nothing the regenerate.

If Wolverine regenerated from a drop of blood, shouldn't that have destroyed his memory?
Yes
+Jake Sauter not really if he was only decapitated and his (body) was regenerated through a drop of blood his brains neurons would still be intact so he would have no memory lose the only way it would happen if he was decapitated is his brain cells and neurons would have to die then reform new ones for him to lose memory
There is no such thing as logic in Marvel.
+Grimm Reaper shut the hell up like you know what your talking about!
+Jake Sauter I couldn't stop thinking about this during the video, and I literally have no knowledge of Marvel or any comic heroes. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who caught this.
Wolverine's memories began to return to him, and by 2013, he managed to regain much of his lost memories. (X-Men: Days of Future Past) Around 2023, he appeared to have regained all of his lost memories.
your videos always make me happier
So if Wolverine can be remade from a single drop of blood, why aren't millions of wolverines created every time he bleeds?
No
+Ayelis That's Lobo's job to be this overpowered.
+Ayelis I think there is a comic about it. Almost everything with everyone has happened in the comics (or fanfic).
+Ayelis The world would blow up. The same wolverine can not occupy different spaces at the same time.
+Ayelis The reason is probably because one that would make things super complicated and the second reason is he is forced to regenerate from the the biggest group of cells

The part where you said that the brain is a good storage unit I agree with, but it still has its limits, both of them have lived so long long that the memory’s they had as children, to the beginning of adulthood were overwritten by new memory signals. I think a random one would regrow, otherwise you would duplicate him every time you cut off anything from him.

I know that this theory has probably been addressed and disproven, but why cant you drown them long enough so that Deadpool's brain stops working? I mean, he just regenerates his body parts, he doesn't create more oxygen. Without that oxygen, he can't move, and thus, Deadpool is Dead.
Thanks for the theories
The way I’ve always interpreted it is that the regen isn’t the creation of new cells to replace the old ones. It’s the old ones growing back, exactly as they were. I mean, if every regenerated cell was new, Deadpool’s scarred skin would go away every time he injured it and it regrew.
Never thought of it that way but it actually makes sense
... actually it doesn't. From a biological sense whenever you "regrow" anything...the old cells are destroyed...let's say by fire.
The water in the cells boils, and bursts the cell walls. This would also happen if you freeze the cells. The boiled cell would destroy the DNA.
It is now up to the cells that are still alive afterwards to repair the damage.
A live, though not necessarily healthy cell, divides and now there are two cells. Those cells eat food until their mass increases enough for them to divide again.
If that is the case, then if the surviving cells are cancer, then the cancer will spread.
If the surviving cells are healthy, than new healthy flash will grow back.
Yet the new cells would not remember anything that wasn't coded into the DNA...this old scars would be replaced with either clean healthy looking skin...or a brand new mess that is unrelated to the original mess.
If the old ones grow back wouldn't they still age like normal?
@@lunaandrine8567 the healing factor heals the cells from aging
that would explain why wolverine did get back his memories becuase the bullet is still in there and it probably healed around it that why he has weak memories or flashbacks to striker
Strange, wolverine regenerated from a drop of blood and was able to keep going...even though his brain was obliterated?
He just lost his memory he did not die
@@dawsonwatamaniuk7425 in the comics they can regen memories. Especially deadpool as he can yknow just look at previous panels before his brain exploded to remember things.
Ya that would never work
@@thatsnotgonewellatall5517 wolverine regains mamories because Jene Gray makes him remamber things.

13:19 It’s insane to think that seven years ago, MatPat considered Bill and Melinda Gates to be heroes
Hey mat can u make videos about Neuroscience your way of explaining is incredible! 🤣
Dead pool actually can regenerate memory for several reasons.
His mutation is unique, he was cursed by thanos to keep memories and never die and finally lady death makes it so he can remember.
In the comics
Also his ability to read through the medium he is in so he could just re read what happened earlier in the script.
Bruh matpat is talking about the movies
That he can.
didnt he like explode himself once? im pretty sure that would've destroyed the brain
"Memories aren't stored." later, "So how are these memories stored?"
lel
+FlapJacks You're missing the point lel
+FlapJacks I think it's just that there isn't a much better way to say it. Like saying reading minds. In Harry Potter, Snape himself says that you don't just "read" a mind; they aren't books just lying around for whoever just to look at. But, it's hard to think of a better way to say it, so, basically, it's for a lack of better words. Or I'm probably just an idiot, and there is an obvious alternative to both of those. Probably the latter.
HEY MATPAT, UM I THOUGHT THERE WAS A "mutant cure" IN THE THIRD X MEN MOVIE WHICH MEANT THAT YOU COULD GIVE A MUTANT AN ANTI- MUTANT SHOT SO THEIR SUPER-POWERS WOULD DISAPEAR... and so if you would give that stuff to Deadpool, and maybe drown him or something he would just die, right? Please point out that I'm wrong if I am.P.S. I thought wolverine origins was a 5.00 movie out of 100.00 if you know math.
+FlapJacks It's more that the English vernacular is terrible at science. As Nemo said, you're missing the point
I think it is strange that I was recently thinking about the similarity of wolverine’s and Deadpool’s way of getting their healing and this video is talking about it too.

+Edric Yeo (Spartan 117) Banned ?! Hell no, it specifically says it's R-rated, what kind of shitty parents would bring 10-year-old Timmy to 18+ movie?! And besides there will be plenty more PG-13 movies like the avengers for those little bastards.
This was a good theory but it was wrong for Deadpool. In the second movie he gets his head smashed in a rock leaving a giant hole in his head but he still kept his memory but Matpat wouldn’t have known since this was made before the second movie
Even in the first movie Ajax stabs him in the head and Deadpool goes loopy for a while. But he heals and remembers everything just fine.
Fakts
Watch the movies again. When Stryker shoots Logan in the front of the head, He’s intentionally aiming for the hippocampus where memories are “stored”. When Ajax stabs Wade in the head, he does it from the side, aiming for the amygdala, frontal lobe, and brain stem, which control human instincts, reactions and co-ordination. That’s why Wade went loopy for a few seconds while he had the rod in his head, but he didn’t lose his memory. Ajax simply targeted the wrong area.
Mitchell Davis but he had a whole rock to the head leaving a massive hole but came out fine
If you’re talking about how he hits head on the rock as he escapes the mutant prison, again, it doesn’t strike the hippocampus, only the frontal lobe. The hippocampus is really buried deep within the human brain, so the hole isn’t big enough to reach it. As such, Wade’s memories are fine. Most of the damage would be towards his motor skills and coordination, not his memories.
The best part of this entire video is his description of soda.
"Cool, crisp, refreshing burn"
Matt Pat you’re not living in a dream world we actually have more happiness because of you I looked at the depression rate has gone up since May 12, 2011 and it has got higher ever since

Thats like asking if after eating seeds they will grow inside you XD
In the movie didnt Deadpool get stabbed in the head and blown up a few times? Wouldnt that wipe out his memory?
His brain can always be regrown with all the same memories and thoughts, that’s how he works. Sorry I’m very stupid
Well it looks like the writers didn't do their research
Well when he gets blown up his head is somehow still in one piece and when he gets stabbed maybe his hippocampus wasn’t affected.

+zredband It's like RETEP.
+zredband Definitely a good point. I assume they would have to come up with some cop out explanation like, well.... if a larger mass exists it regenerates and the non essential "lost blood or other" simply die. Almost like a total potential regeneration energy that is a sum of the larger parts.
Honestly though I like your point, but as this is all make believe they can invent almost any reason they want.

+John Herring no, an army of deadpool!
+ninja fox That would be the end of all chimichangas
I know the answer they say this in a anima with people with the power to regrow back if a limb is cut off and is far enough away from the body it will grow a new limb so if there is nothing left but a drop of blood everything else is far enough away that he can regenerate his entire body from what is left behind but when someone is cut unless it is in a major spot like a artery then it does not leave very far from the body which means the body would go threw a execrated version of our normal healing meaning the blood solidifies into a scab closing the wound then the scab disappears when healed if blood is away from the body it will act like our blood outside of the body and dry up leaving the blood in a dead cell state which should eventually disappear with weather and with decomposing because something cannot live outside of the body for a long period of time I hope this helps with your comment

When Deadpool gets his head cut off, his body grows back to the state it was before. I think it’s safe to assume that Deadpool would regenerate his memories over time. Like with his body. yes, but I don't think he would remember anything
wait a second
if he would lose all his memories then how can he walk and talk and breathe through his mouth?
they got the science right, they just didn't't pull off the effects
thats just a theory
a theory theory
no copyright
But when you don't have your memories are you still yourself?
edward godbold breathings a reflex not a memory
Jeditb yeah it would just be you basically not knowing who or what anything is but would still be alive

No joke this video helped me in my dementia class because of the part where he talks about the brain and neurons
Actually Mat you would look the same if you got the old healing factor, the reason why Deadpool looks so bad is because he has cancer and his healing factor regenerates his cells faster than the cancer can kill him so he is just one giant tumor
lol
+Zack Bloodworth LOOOOL!!!!!!!
that doesn't makes sense 😂
+Zack Bloodworth you should check out the nedist channel. They have a video where a guy talks about how deadpool's healing factor and his cancer are probably linked.
True dat. If cancer starts as a corrupt cell in the body, he is technically regenerating 'himself' when he regenerates his cancer👏.
15% of the length of this video is about drinking diet coke
Thia guy is shitting a lot of science.
@@annant05_ that is accurate af
More like 30%

The ability to change reality by singing, and the ability to imagine things into- and out of- existence
The thing about the healing factor in the comics for the is that when they regenerate something it's like a copy of what it was but the movies it's like the part regenerated was in it's baby version
