Great to see Wales doing well, do feel like they were always hungover since that amazing run in 2016 when they beat Belgium in the Euros. I don't think they were ever the same since. Love seeing Harry Wilson doing well being a Liverpool fan
Not only was everyone slagging off Arsenal’s recruitment policy, but Gary Neville famously (or infamously, depends on perspective) said that if Mikel Arteta got Arsenal back into the top four then he should resign, because he’d never do anything more with them. That’s our top pundit in the country, supposedly 🤷🏻♂️
Assist is unfortunately one of those where you know it when you see it. Agree the free kick ones and the short pass before an individual moment are not asists but a visionary cross or through ball and so on are clearly "decisive action" asissts. People love any opportunity to quantify something though. The data perverts.
Re: top vs bottom: how many times has the top team faced the bottom team over the course of the Premier League? It isn't a straightforward 29 (years of PL) x2 (as I think AC Jimbo suggests): in any given season, top may never play bottom at all, or top may face bottom on multiple occasions (eg, Liverpool facing Southampton this weekend might result in Southampton coming off bottom and if Liverpool were only level on points with arsenal or City, then City against Ipswich might be top vs bottom next weekend, etc and so on)
Just watched "A Day with João Felix" where Pedro Neto also appears and I´m convinced Jack Lang is Pedro Neto in disguise with a moustache. But hey, let me know if you seen the two at the same place at the same time!
Denmark better move soon. I said it when he was at Celtic and being called up for Denmark u21's. The boy is absolute class and if they don't get him tied down with competitive caps, they will end up like Ireland with Rice and Grealish. O'Reilly will be at one of the big clubs in a few years. He broke the Scottish transfer record going to Brighton, about 30 million. Next move at least double that.
I can’t believe you dedicated nearly 50% of the podcast to international football that no one gives a shit about and analysis of which is useless unless it’s an actual tournament lol.
Brave of you to represent everyone, but the scenes at San Siro, or in Czech Republic, Poland, Cardiff, San Marino, to cite a few… say otherwise. A lot of us very much like International Football.

Great lineup today, chucklesome pod. Thanks guys 👍

What else has he done?
@ Competed for the title 2 seasons in a row? And will probably do it again for a 3rd season?
First mistake there - taking something Mayor of Manchester GNev said seriously
@@Sillygoooose624 Good point, my only mitigating factor there is that he’s just fucking everywhere, so it’s almost impossible to avoid him.
Sky sports only use is to show to matches, their analysis is woeful. Even the commentary can be so incredibly dire
22:23 this made me wonder … what is the most amount of times top has played bottom in one season

City are 5 points behind Liverpool not 2.
Certain irony to a more recent UK leader being lambasted for not bringing a brolly out in their final appearance

Why is it useless? A lot of people do care about the nations league just usually less so the big teams fan bases.
I care much more about international football than Manchester city
At least it’s not women’s football

Hows it feel being brainwashed by right wing bigots? You have literally zero intelligence 🤣🤣🤣
Embarrassing isn’t it, the way James kept bringing it up on the last show hoping that people would sign up and follow them
You´re sad because we picked up another ball and went play elsewhere? No need to cry, mate.
