Lomachenko will go down in history as one of the all time greats. Blind Freddy could see he won that fight, and even though he knew it too, he maintained his composure after being robbed and held his head high like a true champion.

I watched it again with the sound off. It was a great fight and close. But I thought Loma outclassed him especially beginning in round 8. I had Loma winning rounds 2, 3, and 5 and then round 8 through 12 although round 9 could have gone either way. Haney did good body work (although many of the uppercuts were blocked) but Loma punched Haney's head like a pinyata. I had it 116-112 Loma.

Loma literally explained it himself @14:15. His corner is telling him he won the early rounds. From what I’m seeing serious people who watched the fight have Haney early*. Loma easing off in the 12th when he had control of fight is what lost it for him. Him thinking he won and not finishing strong. His corner was keeping his head in the game, gave him the illusion that he was up early until he was really able to take over mid fight. Also recency bias with the last couple of rounds is how the crowd is gonna react.

Look at the score cards.The middle rounds I thought Loma won were debated amongst themselves outside of round 9 which they all agreed was Haney. Haney definitely thought he lost the fight when they had a unanimous decision. In my opinion, I think Haiti thought it was going to be a split decision going Loma way and when he heard it become a unanimous decision, Haney definitely thought he lost. I saw the whole fight it was alot of close rds but Devin definitely was winning the early fight slightly and Loma was more convincing later rds especially 9-11. I think Devin won the 12th and I had Loma winning an early rd. 6-6 I had it a draw and was surprised there was a winning .

The fight wasn’t one sided at all. But Loma definitely had the edge in my opinion. I got Loma 7-5 to Haney. Haney did great work to the body but Loma just had more poise and delivered cleaner and more effective shots. No way he lost and no damn way it should of been a UD at all for Haney. Smh. Very disappointed in this. I feel bad for this man. I also feel bad for Haney because people are going to shit all over the kid. He ain’t the judges. I just watched the fight and I was surprised he wasn’t given the win,it was so one sided.
Great fight. From first watch tho i have to go w loma man. He was walking haney down being the aggressor and landing cleaner shots and combos especially in those later rds. Haney was countering good to the body most of fight, but was definitely fighting off his back foot and didnt really see him throwing any combos just one punch counters.

This's a fight between two matured and high IQ boxers. Honestly, after watching the fight for a second time, I felt Haney was rather robbed. Loma is a great boxer but the odds (size, height, distance, accuracy and ring IQ) against him were many. Loma caught some clean shots however, most of his hand throws were nothing to score. Haney's range, accuracy, jab and bodyshots were splendid. His game plan worked perfectly. Personally, I felt Haney should've scored 6, 7 and 8 rounds because most hand throws by Loma didn't get him and those that got him, he retaliated in due time. The perfect rounds for Loma was 3, 10 and 11. Even the rounds were even 6 - 6, remember Haney is the champion (undisputed) fighting on his land. All odds were in favour of Haney. He did a great job.
