Great review I’ve recently purchased a 2021 flair diesel8 speed automatic, the cars so quiet and the auto box excellent, I’m a low mileage user and town work is averaging 46mpg ride comfort is superb with good build quality a great family car if you want relaxed comfortable driving👍
Have bought the facelift, phev version, and it's wonderful comfy and quiet. Fully electric it's not there yet, at least where I live. Maybe in a few years. For now, this is the perfect cruiser. Sometimes driving slowly, so to not to have to get out so soon. Nice review btw 😊
Test drove one the other day and couldn’t believe how smooth the drive was in the hybrid , coming from the 1.6 petrol model that I’ve owned for nearly 3 yrs .collect the hybrid on the 1st March and can’t wait and it’s in this colour with the blue highlights ,only difference is it is the shine plus with the larger 19” wheels in black .
Nice, clean and objective review, without too much fuss! It's a car i've been looking for, as a company car, ainda i really like de looks of it!! I also like the Rav4, CRV anda Tucson but they are all "normal" hybrids (the Rav4 PlugIn is very recent and expensive...), so as a Plug In SUV, i find this one a very strong contender! Anda again, congrats on the clean review!! Cheers from Portugal!
@@TotallyEV Let's see... As a company car, it will depend on the "boss". He's also my friend, so maybe i won't have to beg... 😀🙏 Keep up the good work!! 👍
I always enjoy your informative reviews. Thanks. The only slight downside of the C5 Aircross for me would be interior quality compared to its equivalent Peugeot and DS equivalents. Shame, because I’m sure I’d like the ride comfort.
Thanks Steve, glad you like the reviews, it's much appreciated!
As for the interior, indeed not its forte, but otherwise a fabulous and comfortable PHEV.
As an owner of Citroen C5 (sedan) i really like the ride comfort of Citroen. Might not have the best interiors design or tech but im ok with it as long as it doesnt squeak everywhere
C5 Aircross is a car i would like to have second hand
Had a test drive in this car and it really is as comfortable and quiet as you say. Due to its low BIK at just 11% I have ordered one for my next company car. The shine plus has a broad range of extras as standard.
Indeed the Shine Plus would be the better option given the small added premium; glad you liked it, too! What car are you coming from?
@@TotallyEV I have been in the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid for 4 years. It has the 2.5 petrol engine. A nice comfortable car. The only complaint is it revs high when you put your foot down, almost screeching before it gets up to speed, something to do with the clutch mechanism.
4 star Euro NCAP depending on the safety options, mine is 5 star with all safety options. Loving mine.
The title says 2022 but this is the old model?
Thanks for a great review. I'm considering this car at the moment but what I would really like is a car like this one (with three full-sized seats in the back) but fully electric. Are there any on the market at present under £50,000?
Glad you liked the review!
Honestly, don't think we've come across another EV (be it fully or partially electric) that has such a feature. Might be a few we've not reviewed, but out of the 40+ vehicles tested to date, think it's a rather unique feature!
