Very sad i preciate what they are doing. I am from Poland During Comunism maybe my country was more poor then West Europe but wasn't there any homless Everybody had even small flat . The capitalism is wird and cruel/ like people named good/
Thank you to this homeless man for taking care of his dog. He did the best he could in his situation. It melted my heart when he kissed his dog.you can see he had a kind heart.his dog could feel the love too.. I hope he can find a better life for himself so he wouldn't have to sleep in the cold.

@@daviddd99 From my experience with the homeless is they live like that because most shelter have strict rules around substance abuse can't be high or drunk so they choose to live like that , you may have experienced things differently . The fact he doesn't have to worry about the dog and feed it and so on will make his life better in a way . There are many people that are one paycheque away from being homeless themselves .

(1) We have no idea about any addictions or substance misuse; (2) Why would I possibly know better?; (3) The fact that they spent a considerable amount on the animal's tests and treatment and made no plan to check regularly on another human being is of deep concern.

If the man could not care for him, then it was a good outcome, however, if the dog had been left in the woods with the homeless man, and was able to get enough to eat, it might have been better to leave him there in order to provide the homeless man not only with a warm companion, but with an animal that would have watched his back and alerted him to potenial danger(s).
I think the point is, sometimes we care about animals more than we care about our fellow man. Here they are with resources to properly care and nurture a stray animal back to health and vitality and yet the poor man is living literally in the woods and is left there. Why not help the man too? Instead of just taking his dog, probably his only companion and beacon of light in this ugly world. Btw- I think it’s lovely that the animals are being helped.

His first bath was more like a full spa treatment with ozone therapy, hair styling then new clothes, yummy treats and a shopping trip for toys and bedding afterwards. Mr. Pup was treated royally. He looked so sweet the whole time, bewildered by all the pampering. From sleeping in the woods with a homeless man to being taken cared of lovingly by a beautiful young lady, this is a fairy tale story for Mr. Pup. Hopefully, someone will fall in love with him and give him a loving home to grow up in. Thank you, Olena and the LFF team. This wonderful video is so timely for the holiday season.

Johnny is gorgeous. He didn't want to leave the dog groomer in the end, he enjoyed the experience when he realised it felt nice! I hope he is adopted soon and lives happily ever after. i wish the homeless man would see the video and know when he is adopted. At least, though he was in the cold, he experienced human love and warmth when he was very young, which has helped him now, unlike so many small and bigger street dogs. I wish the homeless man future luck in life, and thank you for saving another furry friend.

One thing for sure…its crazy how more homeless human beings take care of their dogs better than a person who is not. Dog looks healthy and in great shape, if you’d ask me 🤷🏾♀️
Very true. A huge heart in a man who has nothing but EVEN then, gives more than millions of people in his country - and asks nothing for himself.
It would be nice if this rescue could have an address where people could donate tents, rubber or plastic mats, to lessen moisture and stones digging in, sleèping bags, etc, to give homeless when they are looking for animals.
Even buying and donating builders plastic sheeting, to give to homeless. It comes in rolls and you buy by the metre and it is folded and opens out to 20' wide, so they can make a cocoon out of it. Putting those blue plastic woven 'canvss over them, with the eyelets, would protect the plastic. Those plastic 'canvas' replacements still allow drips but they would protect the solid but very easy to tear and blow away plastic. So a folded 6 metre long piece would end up a double thickness 3 metre x 6metre waterproof sheet that you could set up as a little cave, with enough sheeting to lie on, as well to stop moisture coming from ground.
But where is this rescue? Is it Ukraine? If so, have they set up a gofundme?
They really need to get this set up and publicised.
As for Johnny, can they contact a rescue in Germany that specialises in GSD rescue?
I am sure they would allow Johnny and his videos to be shown on their site. They may even be able to organise a foster home for him, to wait, in safety. They will be able to vet homes, interview, etc.
I know since return to work, tescurs in UK are swamped with abandoned dogs, so it is a terrible time to ask for help or foster - but I think there is one GSD rescue called LUOKO? not sure of name and spelling - but I think they allow other rescues to list German Shepherds from elsewhere to list.

Hope Johnny is adopted soon. He is a changed puppy. I lost my Roxie,to your left on Valentine's Day 2021, she died liver cancer. It still brings me to tears when I see dogs playing and having fun. I know he will make a family very happy.

He was the homeless man's companion. They separated the dog from him. They should bring the dog visits to the homeless guy along with food and water. If they can afford OZONE therapy for a dog they can give $4 worth of snacks to a human.
What's amazing is, how he is holding still with all the grooming, the vet ...like he knows(and he does) he's being cared for.

I'm so grateful for the good people who go to great lengths to rescue animals! And so sad that the human animal is left behind when the puppy is rescued!
My heart broke for the homeless man. He needed help too, and he had to let his best friend and companion go. If only they could still be together. 😢
I hope the homeless man who gave up Johnny has seen these videos. I hope he knows his compassion and kindness has made this dog's life better. It took a great deal of courage, honour, integrity, morals and ethics for that man to do what he did. Shows the true mettle of his character, it's a good character for a good man. Just because someone is homeless, doesn't mean they are a bad person, life happens and it can suck.
