I hated seing him play for the Chiefs because we was so damn good. It got me by surprise when he moved to Leinster, as I really thought he had the potential do play for the ABs. Hopefully he can make it into international rugby by Ireland once he qualifies for it (which I believe is not far away)
He was shit in defense in super rugby.. at the time when he was there.. the AB's wings were (Waisaki Naholo, Nehe Milner Skudder, Ben Smith and Julian Savea) Naholo top try scorer in super rugby for 2yrs straight, Ben Smith world class, balanced skilled n most trusted consistent of the wings, Skudder had all the skills you can ask for in back "skip passing, stepping, play making, great punter, good under the high ball etc".. Julian was a beast, he destroyed every team in international
This channel is fantastic. I make edits on Irish players and I think just about every one of them has clips from this channel. I have found out so much about my (now) favourite players. Thanks so much, and keep up the good content.
He played for the chiefs and hes had that mentality engraved in him, "think they are better than anyone else" but in reality its "all the gear and no idea"... and he plays exactly like a chiefs backliner
A Great Chiefs player. Unlucky not to be an All Black. May be the AB selectors we're going off other stats, but he was right up there in the scoring stakes and he possesses the intangibles in his way he reads Rugby play and where he needs to be.
@@harryocallaghan8082 yes he was very good on his debut. I actually posted this before the match. I never said he was bad. I’m well aware he’s a very good player but I wouldn’t say he has been the best winger in Ireland over the last 3 years. Keith earls takes that for me
Smashing compilation on a smashing player. Ireland will never be anything more than RWC wannabes unless we wake up to the world game. Best way to do that is getting SH staff and players to take the predictability out of our game and mix it up a bit.
I think he’s a bit lost , when/if he finds his way like he does for Leinster he will be great . I think people giving out saying it shows how bad the pro 14 is are wrong because Lowe destroys in the Heineken champions cup against the same players he’s playing against in the six nations. Just my opinion. Keenan is very consistent, by far the most consistent Irish player with beirne and henshaw
What about guys like Chris Jack? McAlister? I spose they were different: they had already played for the All Blacks, went away, and then came home to play rugby domestically again 🤔
@@rukaks You can play domestic rugby like mitre 10 but you cannot make the all blacks. You can play for the all blackss if you are on a granted sabbatical like bordie retallick is currently on, tj perenra and beauden barrett will be on
Turns about as quickly as rotisserie chicken. I don't understand how he's so defensively frail at international level. Built like a brick house, big lump in attack but shows none of that in defence. Got exploited by nearly every team in the Six Nations.
You should see Australia at the moment... fair amount of the team are born in NZ. Not arguing about it, just if you're born and bred... played school boy rugby, club rugby...
The Irish rugby team is no longer legit. It is a professional sports franchise, not a team representing Ireland. It is packed with kiwi and springbok mercenaries. What Irish fans need to ask themselves is can they be competative without Standar, Aki, Lowe, Herring, Roux, Klein etc. If not then their status in world rugby is a joke.
2 players from the first clip now play for Ireland

He is now fully qualified and is training with them for the autumn nations

Scored on his Ireland debut vs Wales 2 days ago
he played last night against wales and was absolutely fantastic, he even got a try in the final few minutes, such a great asset to the irish team
Could you make a video on Grégory Alldritt
please ? 🙏

Love this guy. Exciting and always smiling.
Can you edit this to include his tackle at 70mins today that allowed POM to turnover possession? He was next level in Ireland's win today against NZ!
He played for the chiefs and hes had that mentality engraved in him, "think they are better than anyone else" but in reality its "all the gear and no idea"... and he plays exactly like a chiefs backliner
This man will become a legend
This guy has potential
That’s an understatement
Yeah 😉
So guttered he didn’t stay in NZ and play for us . But good on him . Still a Kiwi boy through and through
James Lowe Barret and Rieko Ioane on the same backline
He should’ve been an all black such an underrated player, my favourite player in modern time
You nailed this on the head

He played so well against Wales
One of our best players right now
Don't scroll into this comment section it's a mess
Great Rugby Player!!!
What’s the MAB? I assume it’s like a second team for the all blacks but I’ve never heard of it before 😂
Maori all blacks how have you never heard of it
This guy is good
Reword that to Ireland star.
He’s as Irish as I am!
He definitely has the potential the be a regular in the green but he does need to improve before then
what are you talking about? He's been the best winger in Ireland for the past 3 seasons. He scored last week on his debut.
@@harryocallaghan8082 yes he was very good on his debut. I actually posted this before the match. I never said he was bad. I’m well aware he’s a very good player but I wouldn’t say he has been the best winger in Ireland over the last 3 years. Keith earls takes that for me
He knows the way to the try line. If he has to sprint there. Throw himself there. He gets there.
Poise, strength, composure and intelligence. We missed a huge trick not getting him into the All Blacks.
Well this aged well

AW he is half Irish anyway thats my word on it ho ho ho come on meboyo
When he learns how to defend at Test level......maybe? Thought Hugo Keenan was infinitely more impressive this year - that's your star in the making!

Watch last AB defeat by Ireland and say that again. He made some crucial tackles. 👉😜
Both are amazing now
If Ireland doesn't want him, we'll kindly have him back.
Chiefs fan.
no thanks, mate.. at least not throughout the early 10s
@@karlosdeevs you guys can keep him. Chiefs are doing fine with wainui. Wainui, ALB, tupaea, Stevenson, mckenzie
Future NZ star ???
can’t be. once you leave nz for rugby(unless it’s a sabbatical) you can’t play for the all blacks ever
@@zacharystone8817 is that how it goes? I thought they had to play for another country’s national team to be ruled out 🤦🏽♂️
@@rukaks that also is one. Once you leave to france/uk for club rugby it's over for an all black dream

One of the best finisher's and attackers in the game but his defence is very poor
Ireland don’t really have a good defensive winger
@@hugoowens2104 true but he has worked on his defence I see so he could be fairly good in that area now

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not even Irish :(
He plays more like a 13
Some poor Irish kid won’t get a spot in the side. The residency rules are utterly ludicrous. There could be 3 Kiwis in the Irish backline.
You should see Australia at the moment... fair amount of the team are born in NZ.

Very Irish.....
No no no no

Our first 15 has only Stander & Lowe. The rest are Irish
Talking shite loads of country's now have foreign players in their teams the back bone of the Irish squad is mostly Irish
