You didn’t ask, but they were joking around asking Suga if Butter will top Dynamite because all of his goals somehow come into fruition. He’s become a bit of a lucky charm because of it. Asking him about his goals before promotions is like rubbing a penny before taking a test.
@@LoveTheBasics 10:00 again, he's just joking when he said he didn't wear yellow because of butter. Don't take them seriously all the time. They don't take themselves seriously. They like to play around.
@@LoveTheBasics They released their last Korean album end of the year last year. They released another Japanese album a few months ago. These dudes are busy.
I would slightly disagree with your assertion that the high budget way is the "right way" to do things. Even BTS had their low budget life in their early years. It all depends on what creative things you can do with what you have. I think BTS's creative, sincere low budget productions were a huge part of the charm that jumpstarted their careers.
They get nervous when they release new material because they never take ARMY for granted. In their head they know we will get behind and support them whatever they do but they never assume it will be a success , because they are humble and are always showing their love and hard work to us. Even the most famous of singers ,artists or actors get nervous before showing their work to the public. In BTS ‘s case it is important to them what ARMY think and to produce the best performance for us.
dynamite is actually the mv that probably has the most green screen cause they had to film inside due to the weather, still a great one though, dynamite was their first english single that came out in august
One of their best MV Sets was for the Song "Fake Love". There is also a Behind the Scence Video, which show all of their physical sets. BTS mostly uses physical sets, which is always impressiv to see.
I recently saw a video of BTS meeting Madonna backstage and Namjoon said they were all nervous meeting her, and she asked them if they still get nervous when they perform and he said "of course"... Madonna said "it never ends".
it’s not a gym. i believe it’s a specialised shooting warehouse. most kpop videos are done in these places where they build the entire set. it also helps with secrecy and paparazzi
The 7 of them started off in a poor bankrupt company back then. Their work ethic is amazing, theyre so humble and intelligent. All the members contribute to songwriting, composing and producing. They always talk about growing and improving despite breaking so many records. All their previous albums deals with mental health, self love, self improvement, philosphy, art, literature and make social commentary. They are intelligent and their brotherhood is beyond wholesome. I love how supportive of each other they are and I love how they dont take themselves seriously. The leader of the group has an IQ of 148 and taught himself english by watching friends. His stage name is RM. Jimin-top contemporary dance student at his dance school, has a black belt in martial arts jungkook- main vocalist, good at everything V- vocalist, photographer, new to composing music Jin- university graduate in performing arts, graduate in 2017 while being in BTS, new to composing music Suga- rapper, songwriter, composer and producer. Won an award in korea for producing another artist's song. J-hope- top street dancer, producer, songwriter In 2019, the group scored their third one with Map of the Soul: Persona, sixth extended play, on the US Billboard 200 making them the first group since the Beatles in 1996 to have 3 number one albums in less than a year. BTS went through a lot of hardships to get where they are. They faced a lot of rejection even in their own country. Even after breaking out to mainstream western world, they still faced soooo many struggles. This is further explained by the channel celestex video called BTS from nobodies to legends and bts contribution to music. You have no idea how funny, humble and hardworking they are. Theyre so hardworking to the point they pass out and need oxygen tanks during the backstage of a lot of their performances Back when they first debuted, one of the members lied about being in a car accident because he thought he wouldnt be able to be with the group and perform. He only got his fixed last year. He was delivering food in the rain. He worked a lot of part time jobs to make ends meet. They are very versitile and NEVER STICK to ONE GENRE. They can make catchy bops, to hardcore hip pop, to jazzy vibes, to deep emotional songs to songs that just heals your soul lyrically and melodically. BTS stands for Beyond the Scene, started off as an acronym for “Bangtan Sonyeondan,” which translates to “Bulletproof Boy Scouts,” and means to “block out stereotypes, criticisms and expectations,”
If you do decided to check out Dynamite then I would suggest you watch their live performance of Dynamite on the Late Late Show with James Corden where BTS actually rented out an airplane hanger 😃 (although I'm pretty sure at this point Korean Air paid them to perform infront of their plane ✈ haha)
Suga, the one who was nervous, may have been nervous because this is his first MV production back after recovering from a Shoulder surgery to correct an injury he has had for over 8 years. He also has said he has anxiety and OCD…so I’m sure that adds extra pressure, but he did amazingly well 🤩
For most of other BTS official MVs, they have the shooting sketch too. Something that would blow your mind I think, not sure how much tech you’ve seen will be the production of BTS Fake Love. Best to watch the official MV and then do shooting sketch. You can post on in one vid so you can do a direct comparison. Maybe you can talk about how they could have done it better (don’t worry, this is where you are expected to know more than us fans) Another one you can take a look is Save Me. This has very minimal scene cuz it was done in ONE TAKE. So maybe watch BTS Save Me mv and then watch the supercameraman in the shooting sketch hehe
When J-Hope said that his high shoulders represent the confidence BTS has that's because, if I'm not mistaken, there's a saying in Korea that when one is confident the shoulders will get higher. When your confidence is through the roof, your shoulders can be as high as the sky.
I highly recommend watching the making of “Fake love” which has NO CGI and “Save me” which was a ONE TAKE Music video and “Home” with ROTATING ROOMS performance at the tonight show......you will like BTS and the production team even more😊
I think Daechwita, from Agust D could be your next reaction. Because speaking of cinematography, it's not just well executed, but it also has a little story going on. So you could dive into the visuals and story telling. Agust D is a solo project from SUGA, one of the the BTS members. As they have behind the scenes for every MV, it would be a good idea to watch the video and later the backstage footage and check if you were fooled or not 😂
These guys are the biggest group (popularity) on the planet, and have won every award possible (except for a Grammy- don’t even bring that subject up), yet they are the most genuine, humble, hard working, appreciative guys you can imagine. Their history is remarkable, heartbreaking, and an inspiration. Thank you for your great reaction, and sharing your insight from a technical perspective with us ! 💜
Save Me is a one shot video and there is a behind the scenes for it as well. On: Kinetic Manifesto Coma Prima is shot on one location, includes the use of drones, and also has a behind the scenes. There is also another version of On. I believe there is a behind the scenes for that one as well.
Their Fake Love MV and Shooting Sketch would blow your mind. They avoided green screens and CGI as much as possible in that video, and it had CRAZY stuff going on in it.
this is the third video i’ve watched from your channel and only now did i notice that little semi-colon tattoo. i just want to say that you’re so brave, choosing to go on in this life when you could have given up all the hardships and struggles. we may not know each other personally, but i’m proud of you
5:26 they came out with a japanese ost in april but otherwise yes this is their first single this year, the ost did not get the promo etc the way butter does but it had a music video
The most interesting ones in terms of sets & production behind the scenes 1. On kinetic manifesto 2. Fake love 3. Save me 4. Blood sweat & tears Watch the MV (try & guess what tricks they used) & then the BANGTAN bomb of the behind the scenes 🤯 Another really cool thing to check out is their performance of Home on Jimmy Fallon & the behind the scenes of how they did it!
If you gk back to the beginning and see where BTS and Big Hit came from until now you will be truly amazed....especially when you see how humble and adorable they are not only with one another but their staff. You cant help but love them. Enjoy!! 💜
I love your reaction videos! I learn so much from your comments, I also like filmmaking but its just a hobby of mine so it’s really awesome watching a film maker react to my fave artists’ works. It’s like hitting two birds with one stone 🙌🏻
3:07 actually usually they use some english phrases/words in their songs that are otherwise in korean, not really because of the global audience though since they have done songs that way since the very beginning
I think you can also appreciate videos made by BTS Jungkook known as GCF or Golden closet films. He makes these to showcase the other members while they are on tours or other shoots. The recent one is GCF in Helsinski
At this point, you just need to book a flight to Seoul South Korea and apply at bighit (hybe) ent, it's so fun to watch you get exited over thier sets 😂
About this being the first single of the year: their company has been moving and switching up their workings recently, so they probably were busy with that on top of working on songs/concepts and filming their variety show(s)..
One thing you will learn about BTS is they are very funny and joke around a lot. They are very humble and super hard working. Thanks for your reaction. It's cool hearing your input and experience 💜💜💜
Just to let you know, I'm binge watching your BTS reaction videos. I'm really into it, you're informative compare to the other reactors that I have watched. Also, you sound clear and precise with what you are saying, it's easy to understand especially for me that is not a native English speaker :). I like your videos
The set is actually part of their own film studio in the new Hybe building, they have an entire floor dedicated to film sets only (and another one dedicated to the wardrobe, and another one is for dance studios, and 2 underground stories are a museum with a 28 feet tall wall where all BTS' tropies are exposed!) :-D
You will enjoy bangtan universe and story lines running through all their songs... So much continuity and clues about the story line in every video. Pls keep watching and learn a bit of the storyline beforehand. Love this content
I think you'd really like the music videos/behind the scenes for their songs "Fake Love" and "Blood, Sweat, & Tears". Lots of book references + cool cinematography in those two!
Honestly being a creative must be great in korea because of kpop. There are Infinite jobs to be a background dancer, makeup artist, lighting guy, set designer, craftsman, etc etc.
namjoon (RM) saying that theyre not just wearing yellow bc of butter could be more of a hidden meaning. bts is known for putting teasers for upcoming things in all their mvs so it could be him leaving a clue rather than being silly
They used Grand Central Station as a location for a dance video. Idk how you clear out Grand Central Station (reschedule all the trains?) but it’s worth seeing and figuring out how they did lighting or anything else that they couldn’t install into an existing structure. The name of the song is ON.
I've watched a couple people react to BTS behind the scenes vids, but IMO yours is the most interesting. Thank you! I really hope you'll work more of their vids into your channel reactions.
May you can check out their old MVs also to see from their smallest budget - Studio Setting e.g. No More Dreams and NO and then from the outdoor shooting e.g. Save me
They released their complete album very end of last yr. And this year they released Japanese album already. And another complete album is coming out soon, they said. Just for your info, they hardly use green screens. Check out their Fake Love mv and behind the scene video to see stage set ups. No green screens or any cgis (very little).
I have watched several of your videos about BTS. It is really nice to have your professional point of view. Glad that you can appreciate their creativity, talent, and that they are just great guys. Right now we are in the middle of Festa 2021. It is the eight year anniversary of their debut. 6/12/2013 was the date they first performed in front of an audience. There is a fan chant that will help you remember their names: Kim Namjoon (RM), Kim Seokjin (Jin, World Wide Handsome), Jung Seok (J-Hope), Min Yoongi (Suga, Agust D), Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung (V), and Jong Jungkook (JK, Kookie). They have improved my life so much that I cannot believe it. Their show "Run BTS" on either Vlive or Weverse is great fun. Enjoy the journey!! Borahae (I purple you)
If you love the technical stuff in music videos, you would love the behind the scenes of BTS music videos. They are magical, especially with the more artistic sets
BTS debut in 2013 in a very small company with a low budget. If you're interested in their early-stage MV, here they are. 2014 War of hormone --> ua-cam.com/video/XQmpVHUi-0A/v-deo.html 2015 Dope --> ua-cam.com/video/BVwAVbKYYeM/v-deo.html 2016 Blood, sweat and tears --> ua-cam.com/video/hmE9f-TEutc/v-deo.html
So there are certain songs you gotta react to cause i know that after seeing the MVs you'll absolutely love watching the MV SHOOTING of each video, like : -fake love -spring day -not today - idol -blood,sweat & tears -mic drop -run -i need u (origional 19+ version) Although id wait for i need u & run because they are a part of the BTS UNIVERSE (fictional storyline that runs throughout BTS MVs)
I think you will love the Fake Love music video (turn on CC bec it's in korean) and the makings video of it. You will have a great time with the music videos , sets and makings of Boy With Love, Black Swan, ON Kinetic Manifesto, Blood Sweat and Tears, Not Today... and many more.. not to mention the live shows !
Hey I know this have nothing to do with your video but I see your tattoo and I just wanna let you know I’m happy that I could sit here and watch the videos you made, you’re doing great keep going🥰 thank you for staying strong and being here with us now 💪🏻
If u r into Film making then do check out #Fake Love #Blood sweat & tears #Mic drop #On #Not today #Daechwita #Black swan #DNA I'm sure u'll love the cinematography thanks again for tuning into BTS & Yesssss do check out DYNAMITE its their all full English track last year & Butter their second full English track
Hybe/Big Hit hire the best people in the industry, especially in their MV. It's one of the great ways BTS and their company reach out to the fans in a global basis.
I'v only watched 2 of your videos on BTS so far but I like your take on them. One of my fav videos is for Save Me. They have a making of the video and its very interesting because the actual video is all in one take. I'd watch the MV first and then do the behind the secenes to get the full effect. I will continue to watch move of your videos! Keep it up because BTS is worth it.
As someone who’s watched many BTS reaction videos from professional dancers and musicians, I have to say that I love your unique perspective on their music videos! So insightful and interesting! I would love to see you react to their MV for Dynamite. Thanks for the content! 💜
This is one of their older songs (from 2016) but the MV is interesting. It's one take for the whole video. It's called Save Me. MV: ua-cam.com/video/GZjt_sA2eso/v-deo.html MV Shooting (with ENG sub): ua-cam.com/video/PebgoCokVcI/v-deo.html
Hi, some things about this boys. *Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with the term "kpop". Kpop isn't a genre, Kpop is an industry in Korea that create music for kids/adolescents, and not all singers/rappers/musicians in Korea are "kpop" 1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers 2. Bts compose and produce in all their albums, so is very personal, they sing about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc 3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) used to read and search to understand the link in their videos. Their last album for example was "map of the soul: 7" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Carl Jung. 4. The army love them because they are good people who started from a company in bankruptcy, and even being famous they stay humble. 5. They have a lot of genres but their base is very hiphop / rap. Also you can find subtitles in every possible language thanks to the fans, u only need to search with the name of the song or Activate cc. **Bts always present themselves as a Korean group, and always said they don't want to be labeled in a genre or industry. The fans also do not want to be mixed with kpopers, (most of us aren't kpop fans) we don't have the same ideals. Not because we like a group from korea that means we like all from that country.
K-pop has a stigma of being nothing but green screen sets and BTS are known to use practical sets unless it's intentional like the MV for Idol. I enjoy these behind the scenes because you do see how hard they work and will view each take to see if anything can be improved. Even when they were from an almost broke company the MVs were excellent quality. It's true they didn't have the budget for crazy expensive branded clothing or huge dramatic sets but instead they sold it with solid vocals, rapping and dancing. Edit: spelling is hard.
"a lot of it was in English" …..It was 100% in English. lol Thank you for watching the shooting sketch. i love it when ppl react to more than just the MVs. It is their first single this year but the album "BE" was released on November 20th so.... Edit: I forgot they have also been working on their Japanese Compilation album to be released on the 16th of this month. Plus rn they're getting ready for Muster, their annual debut anniversary concert on the 13 & 14 online this year.
I think it'd be interesting if you check their broadcasted performances for shows like james corden and jimmy fallon. since they cannot travel, they shoot their performances in korea and the sets are amazing
Love your vid. Informative and entertaining. More BTS stuffs please? And yes, don't believe RM when he said he didn't mean to wear yellow. Lol, eventually you'll be introduced to their chaotic crackhead personalities😂😂😂
This is probably redundant by now but, they share staff (provided by BigHit) including stylist, hairdressers, makeup, etc. though maybe by now they might have individuals assigned to them. That's a long way from the tiny company BigHit was when they debuted in 2013, on the verge of bankruptcy. You should check out their story. I liked your take on the production and hope to see more.
They show their behind the scene of their MV in BangtanTV channel, if you want to see more of their MV. I recommend watching " fake love" . "Daechwita" too is like a movie
Well you can check out early BTS vids since those times they really dont have big budget even using staffs vehicle for the set but the vids are still really good

They used Grand Central Station as a location for a dance video. Idk how you clear out Grand Central Station (reschedule all the trains?) but it’s worth seeing and figuring out how they did lighting or anything else that they couldn’t install into an existing structure. The name of the song is ON.
“A lot of that was in english” and the whole song was indeed in english 😂😂 still cute tho! ☺️
Save me
Check out the Save Me MV and behind the scenes video. Its a one shot take. Also ON :Kinetic Manifesto MV and making of.
Behind the scenes - Fake Love and Mic Drop. Black Swan' MV Shooting Sketch which was don in a theater
They released their complete album very end of last yr. And this year they released Japanese album already. And another complete album is coming out soon, they said. Just for your info, they hardly use green screens. Check out their Fake Love mv and behind the scene video to see stage set ups. No green screens or any cgis (very little).
I love your reactions....informative. thank you. You are great. ARMY here in Papua New Guinea subscribing to your channel.
The amount of cuts you're making from the video is stressing me out. Pleaseeeeee do whole videos without skipping. Thank you!
Fake Love is the video that no one ever believes doesn't have CGI until they literally watch the behind the scenes
you have to check the behind the scenes of Fake Love
Thank youuu for this reaction!!! Please do more BTS videos💜💜
2014 War of hormone --> ua-cam.com/video/XQmpVHUi-0A/v-deo.html
2015 Dope --> ua-cam.com/video/BVwAVbKYYeM/v-deo.html
2016 Blood, sweat and tears --> ua-cam.com/video/hmE9f-TEutc/v-deo.html
I feel like you misunderstood this. The “gym” was also a set in this warehouse. They’ve built even more impressive things for performances also!!
So there are certain songs you gotta react to cause i know that after seeing the MVs you'll absolutely love watching the MV SHOOTING of each video, like :
-fake love
-spring day
-not today
- idol
-blood,sweat & tears
-mic drop
-run
-i need u (origional 19+ version)
Although id wait for i need u & run because they are a part of the BTS UNIVERSE (fictional storyline that runs throughout BTS MVs)
You can check all their videos uoto now. They also spend alot for their performances for shows. You can see this BBMA show a few hours ago
That’s BTS for you they are special

I'm sure u'll love the cinematography thanks again for tuning into BTS & Yesssss do check out DYNAMITE its their all full English track last year & Butter their second full English track
They released their last album in November and they released a japanese single this year too, so yeah it's like their first english single this year
Hybe/Big Hit hire the best people in the industry, especially in their MV. It's one of the great ways BTS and their company reach out to the fans in a global basis.
Yes. You should watch all their MV and sketch videos
Please, check "Life goes on". It was directed by the youngest member. It was the first time for him. He was 22-23 at the time
I'v only watched 2 of your videos on BTS so far but I like your take on them.
Blood Sweat and Tears and Fake Love are the must for filmaker to check out. Borahae.
They said it there first full English single in this year and they did a lot in this year
This is one of their older songs (from 2016) but the MV is interesting. It's one take for the whole video. It's called Save Me.

Hi, some things about this boys.
*Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with the term "kpop".
Kpop isn't a genre, Kpop is an industry in Korea that create music for kids/adolescents, and not all singers/rappers/musicians in Korea are "kpop"
1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers
2. Bts compose and produce in all their albums, so is very personal, they sing about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc
I am your fan the way you explain things
Great reaction! Greetings from Tricity in Poland! There is a lot of pressure if you are on top like them!
Hehe. No, they rented the airport last year :))) Can't be reusing the sets. lol Plus this was filmed Jan/Feb so and no palm trees in S Korea.
Actually, there are palm trees imported to Korea. It's rare but they exist.
He was just joking and making army laugh by saying that he did not wear yellow just bcoz of the song. He was being goofy with army
"a lot of it was in English" …..It was 100% in English. lol
Thank you for watching the shooting sketch. i love it when ppl react to more than just the MVs.
ARMY is always eager to bring in new baby ARMY.
i love your reactions!!
They show their behind the scene of their MV in BangtanTV channel, if you want to see more of their MV. I recommend watching " fake love" . "Daechwita" too is like a movie
Well you can check out early BTS vids since those times they really dont have big budget even using staffs vehicle for the set but the vids are still really good
you might like the sets that they used for jimmy falons show BTS week i really love the one for black swan
They’re funny… yeeeeeeahhhhhhhh 💜
I think you’ll like dynamite too 👌🏻 the last release before butter was a japanese song called film out (is part of the soundtrack of a Japanese film)
