  • Aging successfully requires a healthy mind and body. You've probably heard the sayings...you are what you eat... food is life...disease starts in the gut. Eating foods that are mostly plant-based has been proven to reverse disease and promote healthy aging. I switched to a plant-based diet in October 2022 and have lost a whooping 42 lbs when nothing I tried in the past had worked. So, I am a believer and a testimony. I am also a trained Chef (Le Cordon Bleu) and enjoy experimenting in the kitchen. I will be posting some of my creations every Sunday and hope you'll be inspired to start your own health and healing journey. Recipes are really simple and must pass my Caribbean taste test.     Good Evening, that looks amazing, I too eat plant base and vegan food. I started my vegan journey about 2mos ago and i feel good. I have also lost some weight. I replaced my meat with chopped pecans. I boil them for about 20mins, chop them up real good and season them and then put them in a frying pan with Grapeseed oil. it looks and taste like ground meat. Hopefully your not allergic to nuts. I also use carrots if i want a hotdog. Its an amazing new world.

      Hi, thanks for reaching out. Yes, eating plant-based is great. I'm not allergic to nuts but don't fancy eating so many pecans. I use my meatballs as a meat replacement and that seems to work for me. It sounds great that you use pecans and carrots as substitutes. That's the beauty of having such variety in our food choices.
