@@movingtominnesota 😁👍 I love both Minnesota and Wisconsin, but y'all could definitely benefit from some "supplementary driver training"😉❤️. My last job had me driving back and forth between Michigan and California via Washington State. Spent most of my time on the interstate (so I didn't have to deal with too many of those four-way stops) and have to point out that both states had some of the worst lane discipline I've seen in the country. In case you're not familiar with the term, it is law in many states, but considered courtesy and good practice pretty much everywhere. The idea is that you're only ever in the left lane if you're actively passing, at which point you move to the right to allow faster vehicles the ability to pass. I recall being trapped for hours behind clusters of cars that all wanted to drive five MPH under the speed limit in both lanes side by side. (Enjoy your videos btw, and if I end up moving to that area, you'll be my first point of contact 👍)

They're super curious about living in the states, what you do, what your life is like, etc. They're not as self-centered as people in the US they seem to have a genuine interest in what it's like to be you. On the flipside, there's just nothing much in Canada above MN, good camping/fishing/kayaking, but between cities (which there's few) there's just road - pretty road, but just road. Their mosquitoes are bigger (ever notice how the further south you go the smaller the mosquitoes are?) They leave those huge welts, and they're as plentiful in that area as they are up north.
Well that's unfortunate but I guess I should have expected that. I guess it would still be a cool trip just to say I've done it. I have been up to the border once when we went up to Grand Marais. I don't even have a passport though lol.

lol, I'll take it
I just can't tolerate Minnesota anymore. High cost of housing for "flyover country", high taxes, horrible climate. Also high crime that no one wants to address. Also the passive aggressive people are terrible. I have lived in Minnesota my whole life, and I have never felt at home here
It may be that time! If you could move where would it be?
@TraceySeymour true to all of the the things you said you hit the nail on the head. It took my a while to figure that out the hard way by wasting the best years of my life there.
The weather (Snowing since before Halloween 👻) is only easing up now and it’s almost May. But there is another month of rain left before “summer” for 3 months. Question is why do they tax state income tax in the top 5 of the country. When the weather is terrible. Fine I mean if the weather is like California but it’s the direct opposite. Some days the weather is colder than the North Pole, Alaska. 😂
@@jasonbrodierqevermy1998 snow builds character. 🤣
@@movingtominnesota 😂 all it did was to literally break my back now I can’t seriously walk straight. But yeah it gave me better character 🤣

You're a genuine guy, and I appreciate that.

Not exactly a hotbed of fashion in MN. Dressing up is wearing two "hoodies". Everyone looks like everyone else.
You don’t like duck boots? 🤣🤣
word of warning, any state that flaunts 0 state income...... say hello to huge property taxes. Government needs and will get its money :)
By any means
Funny the worst state in the nation, (Minnesota) is conveniently located next to the best state in the nation (South Dakota).
Worst state in the nation in what?
@@movingtominnesota Government policies. Wokeness.
@@nasedo3129except Minnesota is ranked with washington as the states with the highest standards of living.
Somali Colonist?
Yes Please don't move here
Now I wouldn’t say all that. 😆
It Is Boring in Minnesota!!!!
Define "boring"
😅😅😅
Lol enjoy the new state rules that give the poor more rights. Subsidized housing is also happening.
