Or maybe the Axeman is in another Hell and that one was just an astral projection, tailored specifically for Fiona's Hell.
Chris Orosco its left ambiguous if this is the Axeman's hell of if he's an effigy for Fiona's similar to how Delphine's daughter was in hell with Marie and Delphine
One thing I've thought about was the way Marie and Delphine both were in the same hell. My theory is everyone has their own hell/heaven but in their case their hell is being stuck with each other for eternity. That's their real hell. Having to torture and watching your loved ones being tortured is just the bonus.
He isn’t in Heaven, he is living his version of Hell with her. That his love for her will never be returned and every day when she wakes up and restarts her day realizing she’s stuck with him for all of eternity and never satisfied, it kills him that she’ll never love him the way he does.
@@ilovericecakes did you see his response? You couldn't be more wrong. He flat out doesn't care what she thinks! He's happy and her nonsense is borderline amusing to him!
Papa figured she was damned anyway and that is why he didn't make a bargain with her. She had a soul all along but when he said that she did not have a soul, he meant it in the same way when people say someone is heartless. It serves her right honestly because he was willing to kill her own daughter to stay young.
Frankly, the writing was inconsistent as always. Without a soul, she would cease to be, and that's it. The writers don't typically think ahead and this is a prime example. Fiona going to hell is a direct contradiction, plain and simple, because that's not what was established. As per usual, the writers got to episode 11 and realized they needed to start wrapping up plot lines they never fully mapped out.
I read somewhere, Fiona didn't have a soul because she already gave it to someone else: to the axeman. She did it without knowing it as both began theit relationship and this is why the axeman gets to get with her forever in her hell. That makes sense to me.
@kaleb They aren't necessarily damned already. What sense would it make for Papa to make a deal that isn't going to benefit him? If he already has claim to a soul (which he did with Fiona's), that soul has no value to him to barter for because it's already his (or at least it will be at some point). Marie's soul might have passed on to Heaven IF she hadn't made the deal with Papa. But when the deal was sealed, as was her soul's fate which was an eternity of servitude for Papa in Hell.
For the people wondering if that’s really the axe man.. that is certainly not the real axe man. It would be contradictory to the divine justice seen in the show for him to have that much happiness in his afterlife... that was a cabin he loved in his childhood, and he was catching catfish(what he explains to be one of his favorite foods in one episode with Fiona) and plus he actually has Fiona there. Fiona not showing him much love in the place of his dreams isn’t much of a punishment lmao. We learn after seeing Zoe and Cordelia performing Descensum that there are copies of people in different hells sometimes. Zoe’s Hell was Kyle breaking up with her for eternity, yet he was actually alive and standing next to her the whole time. Cordelia’s Hell was her mother scolding her and then bitch slapping her, even though Fiona was still alive in that episode. The axe man is in his own terrible hell somewhere like Delphine is. I wouldn’t be surprised if Delphine’s daughter in her hell isnt the real one as well, considering her daughter wasn’t hardly evil enough to deserve that compared to everybody else!
You're correct but I feel like those are Delphine's kids down there Given that they're technically still being tortured down there I think they could have a more generalized version of hell that full of most human fears like being hurt or tortured and they were there to serve a bigger purpose in Delphine's torture

I really do not think the axe man would be allowed to enjoy his personal hell as a heaven. Axeman knows exactly what's going on, doesn't he? This may sound silly but I'll bet he made a deal with Papa in order to get this. Eternity alone with the woman he loves.
I dont think its the real axeman. EVERYONE needs to be punished as papa legba said. When cordelia went to hell doing the seven wonders she said she saw her mother there slapping her over and over again. Meaning that there was a fake fiona in cordelias hell. I think THIS axeman is a fake axeman, an illusion to torture fiona. I think the real axeman is somewhere else in hell being tortured in his own way.
Well, in this personal Hell, you get a (kind of) aesthetic cottage core. Plenty of fresh air and sunshine to drink in, cute cats and a cute rooster and chickens off somewhere, a supply of alcohol, fresh fish, a guy who will cook for you, and seems always dtf if you're into that sorta thing...albeit he still comes with serial killer tendencies. Certainly MILES better than the Kathy Bates Hell, that's for sure.
Snorlaxation but it has to be him, yes Delphine's daughters may or may not be in hell, I think they are, but it was obvious that Marie and Delphine were together, plus the axe man and Fiona made a deal if he helps her she'd go off with him to....knotty pine
KiDCANTGETIT I dunno. When Coredelia went to her hell she was there with Fiona, but Fiona wasn't dead yet. So it's kind of a "maybe it is maybe it isn't" type of deal
My idea for her hell is that she, over the course of the day, comes to fall in love with him, then the day ends with her sitting with him on the porch drinking Jim Rickies while watching the sun set, coupled with the knowledge of the fact that as soon as the day ends, she'll start it over again and forget her feelings for him. Basically like Fifty First Dates, but less comedic and more just tragic.
to be fair 50 first dates is already extremely tragic and frankly insane. imagine how you would feel waking up one morning and finding yourself 8 months pregnant and married to a complete stranger who expects you to be fine with it after watching a one minute montage VHS tape of your life. Also why would adam sandler's character even want to be ain a 'relationship' with someone who will never remember who you are, what you said, or what you did to them the next day? and she's had s*x with this man more than once after meeting him for the first time, each time? He basically knows exactly how to manipulate her into doing anything he wants, without any repercussions. It's a psychological thriller disguised as a romantic comedy.
Fiona's hell is being stuck in a knotty pine cabin with Axeman for eternity, and she will remember nothing every single morning she wakes up. All of the memories from yesterday with Axeman will be vanished as the new dawn arrives. Losing all of the fame, power, glory, money that Fiona always believes herself deserving, and the worse thing is she can never understand why. Also, the only man she's bound to is the one she can never make use of or manipulate. Axeman's hell is seems like heaven at first glance: stay by Fiona's side forever. However, Fiona doesn't have a clue about anything from yesterday when she wakes up, so she will never realize his love and how much he wants her. That's why I think this is simultaneously the actual hell for Axeman, and I believe this man is absolutely the real one designated to be stuck with Fiona, not just an illusion NPC custom made for her own hell. Having to be in conjunction with another evil creature is the worst punishment for such evil creatures like these two.
The icing on the cake is the fact that she's still wearing glamorous desginer black silk nightwear and killer heels as a reminder of what she used to be, just an extra twist if the knife.
I believe this is the real Axe Man and he is also experiencing hell. He does say that he’s in heaven, but everyday he arrives to see his loved one forget where she is. She despises him and everything he loves(the home). Fiona will never love the Axe man, but will be stuck with him. Axe man desperately wants her to love him and is stuck in that situation. Papa really made a 2 in 1 situation. Both of them experiencing the perfect hell in the same place
What’s crazy about this scene is it’s hell for both of them. Every morning Fiona wakes up in hell with the man she has killed, having fish(that I assume she thinks are gross) waved in her face. The Axeman’s hell is coming home to the woman who tricked him into thinking she loved him(after fishing for I can assume hours at least), only to find the love of his life hostile, confused and upset for reasons unbeknownst to him. Truly a fascinating concept.
@@sebastianamigo4791 that's not necessarily true. It very well could be the axeman, just as Marie was an impersonation until her soul actually entered Hell with Delphine. I believe that some souls share a hell if their worst nightmares directly involve each other.
pretty damn stupid to say living in a decent home only paying the price of having to live with a man you don't love is equal to other people's situations in the world. ill take that over living in oakland.
@@brandonbotello266 Brandon maybe if you were a man stuck with another man asking you if you wanted a stiff one for eternity you would change your mind. Being stuck with some entitled idiot forever putting his hand on you is hell. Since this is Fiona who had no sympathy for anyone its hard to dig up some for her.
It's her personal hell not a political statement. Misty's is dissecting a live frog, Maddsion's is working in retail, Queenie's is working in a fast food restaurant, Zoe's is her and Kyle breaking up over and over. To some people those situations wouldn't seem like hell they're just reality. Fiona likes luxury and no commitment. She hates catfish, country cabins and doesnt love the axeman. So this is her hell. It doesn't matter that people in 3rd world countries live worse than this its irrelevant.
The great contrast here is Fiona is so used to having so much power. Her magic her status. Now she has nothing, no magic no love no respect. You really think he’d slap her like that if she was still the supremen
this is so true to her character because she rejected any responsibility of being a supreme and liked being intimidating, powerful and tough but now shes an abusive farmers wife and being forced to succumb to an abusive marriage and an incredibly suffocating life instead of being free spirited
ik that fiona prob thinks this situation could not possibly be any more despondent, but if u think about it, fiona REALLY lucked out despite all of the horrible and wretched things she did. she could have been sent to a place where she’s forever hooked up to a chemotherapy machine, slowly dying. or she could have been sent to a place where she, herself is tortured in the most heinous of ways for all eternity. but instead, she ends up in a place that’s not particularly that bad. i mean yeah, it’s not a fifty-five thousand square foot equestrian compound in Palm Beach like she probably would have preferred but at least it’s not a house where the floors are lined with razorblades and the ceiling rains shattered glass. and sure, she’s with the axeman who she never actually liked or cared for, but at least she’s with someone who LOVES HER. that’s all. thank u for coming to my ted talk.
They only showed 3 minutes of that day. He probably spent the rest of the day and every day after for eternity torturing her and chopping her up with an axe.
WTH how is this bad for her? They live in a country which they can at least go outside (Though there is nothing reallly put rhere except a pond and a empty field of grass) while others like the slave owner is stuck in a touture room. Hey, if I had a choice to pick which hell...being toutured eteenity or spend eternity in a middle of nowhere, with a pond, fish, water, country home, with someone that i dont like (I would like them in the future) lol I would take it to serve my punishment. I mean, hell yea.
She's in the country with an abusive asshole. She idealized him during their romance, possibly correctly given how sexy and in love he was with her; now, her hell is being with him, only he's just as horrible as the men she left before, and that country house with those gin rickeys becomes a horrible cosmic joke.
"I want my daughter." And it's too late. She has to live with all that regret for eternity. I felt kinda sorry for her there cause she realized too late that she screwed up. With everything.
I wish they could do a Spin Off of Coven, where Malory is the Supreme and the Coven is all reunited with Misty, Zoe, Madison, Queenie and other girls, then the Villain of this season is Fiona Goode, Fiona Goode is one of the most powerful supremes ever, she could easily make a deal with Papa Legba to come back, she could offer him a huge amount of souls if he bring her back with her powers, so she could not lose her powers anymore, she's not on the supreme losing her powers scheme anymore, now she's an entity, I would get my life to see Fiona coming back as someting bigger and darker than a supreme

Pretty sure since he already made his deal with Fiona that they'd spend eternity together in a home just like the one they're in now
Abby Beatson No, Fiona made the deal
@@briannabombshell1921 she tried, but she couldn't
Or it’s a demon, not the axeman.
Then again, he did say he was from hell.
"What is this, KNOTTY PINE?"-PRICELESS!
I guess this is AXE Man's hell as well. To be rejected by Fiona for all Eternity.
He is nearly definately not real Axeman.
he sure doesn't seem to mind!
Hell is ingratitude.
The Axeman made out better then pretty much everyone else who died.
JerseyManShaggy assuming it's the actual axeman and not just a part of her Hell
Snorlaxation but it has to be him, yes Delphine's daughters may or may not be in hell, I think they are, but it was obvious that Marie and Delphine were together, plus the axe man and Fiona made a deal if he helps her she'd go off with him to....knotty pine
The Axeman is likely an illusion of her Hell. The Axeman undoubtably has his own hell.
William Foote
No that's the real him
KiDCANTGETIT I dunno.
Exactly....she was such a good villain and great actress 💯
to be fair 50 first dates is already extremely tragic and frankly insane. imagine how you would feel waking up one morning and finding yourself 8 months pregnant and married to a complete stranger who expects you to be fine with it after watching a one minute montage VHS tape of your life.
Most disturbing part of this season is the idea of a personal hell. Even though Fiona was a piece of shit, I don’t think anyone deserves this.
That's not the real axeman
The icing on the cake is the fact that she's still wearing glamorous desginer black silk nightwear and killer heels as a reminder of what she used to be, just an extra twist if the knife.
"knOTTY PINE !?" KILLS ME 😭😭😭🤣
I believe this is the real Axe Man and he is also experiencing hell.
:52 “ Get those Goddamned things outta my FACE!!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I always die
What’s crazy about this scene is it’s hell for both of them. Every morning Fiona wakes up in hell with the man she has killed, having fish(that I assume she thinks are gross) waved in her face. The Axeman’s hell is coming home to the woman who tricked him into thinking she loved him(after fishing for I can assume hours at least), only to find the love of his life hostile, confused and upset for reasons unbeknownst to him. Truly a fascinating concept.
I don't think you understood that the only real person is fiona the axeman is part of the simulation.
@@sebastianamigo4791 that's not necessarily true. It very well could be the axeman, just as Marie was an impersonation until her soul actually entered Hell with Delphine. I believe that some souls share a hell if their worst nightmares directly involve each other.
My all time fav season. I can’t believe next year it’ll be ten years since it was released… omg
she snuck some liquor into hell that aint so bad
Maybe she should lay off the liquor for awhile and drink in the fresh air. Ha ha ha!
Niles Parker what is this?? KNNOTY PINE?!?!
Did you see how expired that wine was ?
Damn I wish she would come back to the show!!!! I would die from excitement! I love Jessica Lange so much! ❤
"Get those God damn things outta my FACE!"
Lol 😆
I feel bad for her
Amy Elliot Dunne i meeeeeaaaannnnnnn..... she did kill 3 people..... Anna Leigh. that doctor in the beginning. Madison. and im sure others
shteve119 Yeah but she eas charismatic and funny!
shteve119 But she doesn’t deserve to be in a never ending torture.
shteve119 she also killed Nan
Alexander Ellis how? She might be bitchy but death? I’m sorry try again
“KNOTTY PINEEE??” WHEN I FIRST WATCHED THIS I FELT SAD FOR FIONA THEN I HEARD KNOTTY PINE AND I FELL OUT OF MY BED CRACKING UPPP😭😭😭😭
“What is this KNOTTY PINE??!!!”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
knotty pine!!!!!!!! lol
I don't get it.
Such a well acted scene between Houston and Lange well written too
THIS SCENE CRACKS ME TF UP EVERYTIME
I always thought that this would've been better as the final scene of the season.
“It reeks of fishhhh...cat pissssss.. what is this? KNOTTY PIIIIIINE??” 😆😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
imagine getting stuck in eternity with a guy you basically played with and don’t care for 😂
Fiona Goodes idea of hell is better than how most of the world live :/
pretty damn stupid to say living in a decent home only paying the price of having to live with a man you don't love is equal to other people's situations in the world. ill take that over living in oakland.
Shadowcub69 never said it’s not shitty, but I am saying there are wayyy worse situations out there than that.
Shadowcub69 but she forgets everyday for all of eternity and only remembers the moment in which she died before,
It's her personal hell not a political statement.
This is like the dark fairytale version of the end of The Notebook
Imagine being so powerful one day and then wake up another so powerless, how would it feel ? I guess she was feeling like that when he slapped her.
The great contrast here is Fiona is so used to having so much power. Her magic her status. Now she has nothing, no magic no love no respect. You really think he’d slap her like that if she was still the supremen
I honestly wish Fiona would have came out on top!!!!
Damon Cordell lol why? She was evil as hell, gotta love Jessica lange tho. The show wasnt and still isnt the same after she left😔
d Mal_222 Because she was badass😂😂😂
Naw She got exactly what she deserves
Satre: "Hell is other people."
Fiona Goode: "Wrong....
"...... KNOTTY PIIIIINE!"
Knotty pine!! One of the best scenes in the season, which was sooo good.
Fiona's hell is the Axe man's heaven
I just love Fiona Goode!
Am I really the only one who found this scene hilarious?
The way I say "KNOTTY PINE" whenever I am displeased and NOBODY gets it. I live.
this is so true to her character because she rejected any responsibility of being a supreme and liked being intimidating, powerful and tough but now shes an abusive farmers wife and being forced to succumb to an abusive marriage and an incredibly suffocating life instead of being free spirited
Those two are such amazing actors 💞
“Knotty pine!!!” Gets me every time
Hell seems terrifying in AHS because it's catered to the individual. You're dealing with what you hate most.
ik that fiona prob thinks this situation could not possibly be any more despondent, but if u think about it, fiona REALLY lucked out despite all of the horrible and wretched things she did. she could have been sent to a place where she’s forever hooked up to a chemotherapy machine, slowly dying. or she could have been sent to a place where she, herself is tortured in the most heinous of ways for all eternity. but instead, she ends up in a place that’s not particularly that bad. i mean yeah, it’s not a fifty-five thousand square foot equestrian compound in Palm Beach like she probably would have preferred but at least it’s not a house where the floors are lined with razorblades and the ceiling rains shattered glass. and sure, she’s with the axeman who she never actually liked or cared for, but at least she’s with someone who LOVES HER. that’s all. thank u for coming to my ted talk.
He literally slapped her I don’t think he really “loved her” it was selfish
They only showed 3 minutes of that day. He probably spent the rest of the day and every day after for eternity torturing her and chopping her up with an axe.
me, every time I don't like a hotel room now: what is this? knotty piIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIne????
Here from Kate McKinnon's performance on comedians in cars getting coffee.
You can't put a clock on eternity.
If he said every morning she's like that and gets fight then imagine he must to listen when she yells KNOTTY PINES 💀💀
Everyone now go watch Kate McKinnon yell “KNOTTY PINE” at Seinfeld
2:32 Your Welcome
Her accent makes me laugh.
I always quote: "cat piss... KNOTTY PINE!"
Paul Smith Hell is subjective and this is her personal hell. It doesn't matter where she is what matters is how she perceives it
She's in the country with an abusive asshole. She idealized him during their romance, possibly correctly given how sexy and in love he was with her; now, her hell is being with him, only he's just as horrible as the men she left before, and that country house with those gin rickeys becomes a horrible cosmic joke.
But this is for eternity *ETERNITY OF THE SAME THING* *ETERNITY*
Oscar Hayden (Perdition Bound) I doubt they have wifi lol
Paul Smith no she cant is a deyabu inside the house
"I want my daughter." And it's too late. She has to live with all that regret for eternity. I felt kinda sorry for her there cause she realized too late that she screwed up. With everything.
"WHAT IS THIS, KNOTTY PINE"!!???? I just love this Woman, a woman after My Own Heart!!
So her hell is a humble life with her fling/lover? I guess its because Fiona lived to never settle down and avoided love.
DreamBlueVoid No, it's eternity of a boring life.
maybe youtube is the place I can jerk off more eternity of being vulnerable and without her powers. At the axeman's mercy for eternity.
I felt that part with knotty pine 😂 and I can’t spend eternity
I came here for KNOTTY PINE 🤣🤣🤣
Am I the only one who thought this house was Kit Walker's house?
This meant to me that he took her soul without her knowing and didn't have to give her anything for it and doomed her to hell where he lives.
WHAT IS THIS????? KNOTTY PINE!!!!!!! 🤣 SENDS ME EVERYTIME!
"If you wanna stiff one, come ova here". SLAP 👋 Don't be vulgar. SLAP👋 back, hits da floor.
EPIC SCENE.
Jessica Lange is the queen of playing evil characters you pity at the end
I’m at a Colorado salon right now with knotty pine walls. I immediately thought of this and had to watch for nostalgia
