Au Burkina Faso, la déforestation dégrade chaque année environ 500.000ha de terre fertile. 50 fois la superficie de Paris est perdue au désertification. En plantant des Nouvelles forêts, Hommes et Terre et ses villages partenaires ont récupéré 3.500ha de terres dégradés en 2018. 2.000.000 de nouveaux arbres sont le résultat d’une collaboration équitable et durable. En totalité, Hommes et Terre a plus de 10.000ha en récupération.

In Burkina Faso, each year 500.000ha of fertile land is lost by desertification. Year after year, 50 times the size of Paris turns into entirely degraded and completely worthless land. By planting new forests, Hommes et Terre and its partnering villages have regained 3.500 ha in 2018. 2.000.000 new trees are the result of this intense and equitable collaboration.
