I have a physical disability to I have mild cerebral palsy I am also in college I studying education I want to become a special ed teacher and open my own school for children with physical disabilities someday as well as write my own book which I am working it a non fiction book about my struggles and challenges I face with living with a physical disability I also want to be a motivational as well I glad u talk about this topic

Yes it really is. Psychology is a very interesting field. I am majoring in a program that combines aspects of psychology and sociology so I think you’ll really enjoy studying it because it’s a very diverse area with many different affects you can go into. Have all the stuff with the virus made you need to postpone attending?
Hi! I’m not sure how accommodating JHU is since I didn’t end up attending school there (I can tell you all about Davidson though!!!). You should check out this organization I’m a part of: aplaceforusdisability.org/ I’m a mentor for them! It’s an organization where disabled college students are mentors for disabled high school students applying to college!
I am interested to know what major you are thinking of going in to. Also, have your plans, or the plans of the school, changed for you in the fall as a result of Covid-19? Thanks again for sharing your story and your process.
Ekinnaj Jay Most likely psychology! I’m still going to Davidson but there haven’t been any changes to our schedule so far (except the semester will end right before Thanksgiving).
RANDOM: I have a son I would LOVE to send you and him on a blind date together. Interested? His love language is touch and from kindergarten he has been a caregiver with a soft heart. As I watched your video on "Truly" I just feel in love with you and your heart. I know he would too. We're not creepy or anything but he is 21 and I have been praying for a girl for him since birth!
21 is very young... let him explore the world, study things, work places... i'm sure he will meet a nice girl! I think that's a decision he has to make, not his mom ;)
