I spent 18 months in Walton at this time.black country guy amongst scousers . Geoff Aki and some other scouse faces . Can’t say a bad word about any of them . They treated me like family . Respect to the scouse

I was a young plod on the Wirral when Akinawle Arabeke molested a young teenager on the train to New Brighton. He later terrified the boy so much that he tried to get away from Aki by crossing the tracks, he fell and was electrocuted. Aki was beaten to within an inch of his life by Wallasey police. He was boxed off with 10K which was a fortune then. Fast forward to about 2000 I had left the police and now was a prison officer at HMP Altcourse Liverpool. I was on Valentine red when Aki came in and was placed on Valentine green. In those intervening years Aki had studied the law diligently and attended courts regularly to observe procedure and process. He was easily as qualified as a good solicitor. Each evening he would have a queue of fellow prisoners at his cell for legal advice. So he never lacked for toiletries, sweets or phone credits. Even as an older man he was still scary as hell.

Then went back to organising the lads to get the trolley out
He thought cos I was new I didn't know who he was or what he had done
I then stared at him for around 6 seconds

Honestly this bloke used to play the guitar in his pad and sing and all that. Wasnt in Walton long but I always used to hear him and thought that's ace that. Top fella
I was in Walton over Christmas 2011 on A wing and on Christmas Day when xmas dinner was served, Purple Aki was serving the Chrimbo pudding (not a euphemism) and he was wearing a chefs hat and reminded me of chef off South Park. It was one of the most bizarre moments of my life, remember thinking is this really happening, still makes me laugh to this day. I remember Jeff well and a few other names he’s mentioned, his jingles on the prison radio station were memorable. ‘Give your ‘ead a wobble wobble wobble before you get in trouble trouble trouble!’😂😂

i was a frequent tennant at walton jail bk in the day, and purple aki was fkn feared amongst us inmates, the bloke is huge, i never crossed paths with him, thank god, not working out hard enough obviously lol

He asked me do I know where the word actually comes from. And I said yeah its slang for pedo ain't it. He said no it comes from not on (normal or non) circulatory excercise. So in essence criminals like Bronson or extremely violent prisoners are classified as nonce. My tiny mind was blown. He also never informed me about the location of paedophiles in that prison. So basically they were all over the place with cover stories.
