Вот пусть посмотрят те, кто истерично пишет, что Михаил Барышников не артистичен. Исполнение этого номера может привести в ступор, сказать, что это гениально, значит ничего не сказать. Барышников фантастический актёр, такой же танцовщик и спасибо ему за то, что он есть.
Он просто гений своего дела. Одним словом молодец. Человек с большой буквы
incredible performance and choreography ! it is about Vestris, very famous family of dancers from France (coming initially from Italy but did most of their carriers in France). The father and the son were the most talented of the family, they were incredibly famous at their time, across Europe, like rock stars now, they were also mimes and had very bad reputations as persons as being arrogant and pretentious but they also revolutionized the world of danse, the son was the teacher of Marius Petipa (and many other great dancers). Baryshnikov capture the characters and the style of this time, some paintings of Auguste Vestris are exactly the same positions he's doing here, his jumps and sliding are amazing, and at some point, the audience is also laughing because of his acting skills.

Leonid Yakobson's wife, Irina, just died this year. Let's hope a renaissance of his work occurs, the man who was the greatest choreographer in the USSR.

hideo came in europe and worked long time with granko in germany where l saw him ,in 1971 was awarded with nijinsky prix in paris .was an outstanding dancer ,todays works in japan as metre and coreographer

in this contest hideo fukagawa was a fiery opponent ,micha had not easy life with him ,and many told that hideo was not less gifted ,personally saw fukagawa later in germany and was amazing too.
