hey 20+ Esthetician here and ....Well IT VARIES 🙂 It actually depends on the clientele and “your presence” and experience i have worked at spas with several Male massage therapists but only 1/5!would hire Male Esthetician ~ usually men do better with massage unless you have a “niche or a knack” for making women feel completely confident.(not so easy) when it comes to disrobing and a closed treatment room ladies prefer a female but times are a changing. Location and reputation of business is paramount. Aesthetics has generally been a woman’s world with few exceptions. Makeup Artist or Massage therapy might be better at the beginning.
