TayMac, you've earned a loyal follower from America. I was a former factory team chassis tech when you were a toddler. Your enthusiasm and charm are what this sport needs here in the US. Our version of the sport is dying. I wish you much success and thanks for featuring Brad a bunch, he's my one of my favorites to watch when I can get your races in full.
I did my first race meet this year at snett on an R6 and my ultimate balls out fastest lap was almost only just about the same as you pair just chilling and enjoying yourselves! I'm so Jealous of the speed!
That was awesome! Great to see it from the riders perspective! Also well done in BSB 2020, sad to see you not battling with Taz for the lead however you've had a great but tough year. Wishing you all the best of luck and health for 2021!! 🤗👍🏼
Great footage and railing around in the wind and cold track on street tires had to be a little bit sporty. Love watching BSB racing. Subscribed! Cheers from the U.S.
There used to be 3 industrial units in the center of Snetterton, I used to work in one back in 85... Rushen Green Racing... Senna`s old FF 2000 team.... So I have a lot of memories of the circuit. Like late night laps in my BMW 528 in the snow!!! Never quite got up to the speeds that you did.... Great video... Good luck with getting a ride... Stay safe.. :-))
Hi Taylor I love Snetterton it’s my local circuit and try to get the odd track day in myself on my GSX-R1000R. Also usually go and watch the BSB round and the pre season testing. It’s definitely a windy circuit at the best of times, you certainly weren’t hanging about on the RR either looked fun too. I bet it’s lovely having the track to yourself ? Take care and stay Safe !!
Hi Taylor , good footage. At the start you talk about road tyres , which I found interesting. Would you mind doing a video about tyres? Explaining (for a track day riders perspective) the differences of response from the bike on Slicks Cut slicks Wet tyres Road tyres Also a review on ( in your opinion, without upsetting any sponsors 😂👊🏻) what brands would be best value for money in there own individual uses. Cheers mate, there’s some good content ideas for you 👍🏻
I guess it’s all about your experience, and the products that have worked for you. Just try and keep in mind that you are doing for track day & road users with limited budget. I’m sure you could pull in some sponsors/tyre manufacturers to help out with supplying tyres. Maybe bring in Hicky as he has some experience from road racing as well. 🙂👍🏻
@@tmac77 just “ spit balling” ideas with you buddy. It would be great content. I don’t think it’s something that’s been done much on UA-cam. Apart from major manufacturers promoting there products. So let’s hear it from a pro rider(s) directed in a way that will help budding track day enthusiasts and hardened road racers/riders
Interesting seeing how quick you 2 are just 'playing around' getting some footage on a cold & windy day ! I don't like Snett - its got a strange layout, I am not a fan of it - but you seem to have a handle on it !! good skills
I was planning on doing some track tuition videos over winter, I’ve got to have an operation in a couple of weeks so I’ll be laid up for a while after that and I’ll get some done 👍🏼
Another awesome vid, you weren't kidding about the buffeting of your lid! 😳 Odd question, how come you're allowed to mount your camera on your lid, it's a big no no on trackdays, is it because your on a private session and a pro? Just being nosey 🙂 thanks for sharing again, much appreciated 🙂👍
Mint as ever Taylor 🙌why don’t you do a full and detailed commentary on a lap 😉😉like off throttle here-trail braking until here- back on full throttle here etc 👍think that would be a good insight to compare a fast BSB rider to a quick track day rider 😁👍sort of thing I know we can work it out but just an idea mate 🙌🙌🙌still watching the adds😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😂😂🙌
It looks like the front forks on left side are electronic with a cable but not the right side? I dont even see any adjusters in the right side can you explain that?
Had to laugh when you said you went out on cold road tyres!i do that 7am every morning and stuff coming the other way!😂im not racing mind....honest!fancy some of that one way stuff you guys do,looks like good fun.maybe not so much wind though!nice vid chap, keep em coming!
Just seen this and it's alright, but there's a chap called Champione, not even "coming through the ranks" as they usually say but is going straight in to the top. Keep an eye out for him. Even with cold road tyres he's been trained to cope.
I always struggle to trust the electronics fully. Unless you race with them consistently year after year I think it’s hard to have 100% reliance on them.
Your throtle hand is much too tight and you are not hiting the apppex as you should gear change alos susspect ???? keep practicing you will get it one day !!! JUST JOKING I CAN'T RIDE FOR TOFFEEE SO GOOD TO SEE HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE ON A STANDARD MACHINE GREAT VID THATNKS !!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the message Jake! It was awesome riding around on our own just having some fun 😁
great video. There were parts of the track where brad was quicker, but there were others that you were certainly faster. Those bikes were amazing
Thanks Michael!

This is how I think I look on a trackday. In reality, I probably look like Mr Bean.😂
😂👍🏼
Its all relative isnt it
Thx for taking the time to do this. Just goes to show how good standard road tyres are. Now stop pissing about and get some more Mad Mark made 👍
I’m so excited for this next mad mark, he’s away this week but he’s back next week to film the next episode 😁
Great vid, lovely lines you held
Thank you!
A lovely track one of my favourites 👍🏼
It’s good fun! 😁
what a rider 💪
Good video for showing in line body position.
😁👍🏼
Some footage of some banter between you both at the end would of been good Taylor , just a thought mate Cheers fella 👍
I filmed a bit of a vlog at brands so there’ll be a bit in there for you to enjoy 😁👍🏼
Magic!!!!

😁 Snetterton can be a tricky track, it’s hard to find reference markers because it’s so flat.
Great video, thanks. My profile pic is me going round Wilson hairpin at Snetterton at - er - quite a bit less than 50mph!
😂😂
😂👍🏼 thanks Andrew.
Cracking video as always , could you do some where you tell us what your doing on the bike and what the bikes doing at certain points on the track ? 👍

Great video at my local track, I've just purchased a 2020 Ducati V4S, what's your thoughts on what's the best track bike BMW S1000rr or Ducati V4 ?
They're both great bikes, I've ridden both and had fun on both of them, I'm sure you'll love it!

Do you find that you can trust the electronics? or do they just get in the way since you are used to a BSB bike that has no electronic aids.
I always struggle to trust the electronics fully. Unless you race with them consistently year after year I think it’s hard to have 100% reliance on them.
you are chilling )

Is that the new M1000RR?
No, this was filmed months ago.
It’s not, I would like a go on one though!
That is a weapon for a stock road bike! Wow.
Certainly not for the faint hearted 😅
