    The only link on the website I’ve found provides instructions for coupler removal from the base of the blender. Same video provided on the You Tubes.

      Have someone hold the handle of a hammer inside the jar to prevent the blade from turning and then using pliers grip the coupler and unscrew it by rotating it CLOCKWISE as the threads are reverse. Should come off quite easily, mine did. No need to put the new on too tight as it will tighten as needed when the blender is operated as the blades rotate in the opposite direction.

      I tried that; it turns and turns until the plastic hex-nut reaches the bottom coupling part, which doesn't seem to come off by any means.
