I use large metal baking sheet pans with a ridge all the way around for my grandkids to sit around my large dining table to build their lego sets. What they don't finish goes home in a large Ziploc bag so pieces don't get lost in the car on the ride home😊
I will always remember Christmas’s with my nieces, nephews and step kids. It’s just us and I married the Grinch. Last year a dear friend sent me a small live tree and this year she sent an adorable artificial tree 🌲 It’s so different when children are around this time of year. We don’t do anything! For me I just focus on the Birth of Our Savior🙏🏻🕊✝️🌸♥️🎄

When I was 10 I loved the Gregor the Overlander series by Suzanne Collins, it’s by the Hunger Games author but much more appropriate for younger readers! I loved those books so much, they’re adventure fantasy :-) I also love the author Kelly Barnhill she writes amazing books for that age group as well, I read them all as a grown adult and loved them even though they’re for kids! Thought I’d recommend these since you say she’s been flying through books lately haha

We use sheet pans for playdoh, painting, clay, ect. Stays on the tray.
That is SO smart!
