like, the fight gains that much more intensity and meaning if you actually watched the anime. he has no personal connection to anything that happens and doesn't understand any of the worlds ''laws'' such as reiatsu and release forms and stuff. Uryu's monologue alone increased the battles intensity

@@DonTownsend she isn’t even an op healer, her ability is used to heal but it’s far superior. I won’t explain it in case you watch or read bleach but it’s definitely leagues above healing
@@keithdenzelroque2072 what I’m saying is “healer” doesn’t begin to describe her since she’s pretty much just god tier support in general, her actual defensive abilities puts her god tier healing to shame. It would be like calling Kira a healer because he’s one of the best healers in soul society even though he’s way more proficient at actual combat

She has the ability to reject all phenomena, so when she heals she isn’t healing or reversing time but making the injury ha int never happened, and when she shields she’s makes it as if the attack is never hitting. However it’s tied to her emotional state, if her emotional state is weak then her shield can easily be broken and she can’t heal nearly as well however when she’s motivated and resolved she is capable of blocking attacks from the strongest character in the series who was going to destroy everything that exists in the Bleach universe. Hypothetically as long as she’s motivated she could beat characters like Goku and stuff as long as she isn’t in a weak emotional state, that’s how absurdly op her power is
4-eyes guy "Uryu" didnt want Ichigo to kill him because
1) Ichigo wasnt in control during the fight and was just a force of pure violence and power
2) Ichigo's entire purpose is to fight to protect the people he loves, its not necesarilly about "killing" his enemies but rather "defeating" them and, if possible, sparing them. If he killed Ulquiorra here, he would basically lose his identity and just become a cold-blood killer without even having any recollection of what happened, so Uryu was simply doing what he knows Ichigo wouldve wanted him to do.
Ichigo has killed many of his opponents though (for example Kariya, Muramasa, Ulquiorra, Yushima, and Ginjo)
@@glowstonelovepad9294 Kariya, Muramasa and Yushima are all filler villains, they don't count. And Ulquiorra was killed by White, not really Ichigo.
In general, I think Ichigo fights with lethal force i.e when he attacks, he doesn't actively hold back trying not to kill his opponent. But if the enemy is still alive at the end of the fight, he won't kill them in cold blood. Killing an enemy in battle is one thing, executing a defeated foe is something else.

Yeah the only shinigami can fight on par with ichigo is kenpachi cause he don't know what's the name of the sword and one most powerful character without bankai .
At the start, the yellow desert with a blue sky that they were fighting in is basically the inside of a GIGANTIC dome, which is part ofthe Villain's forteress, and they burst through that cieling and are now fighting on top of it. This whole dimension is basically a huge desert that is always night time, and in that desert theres the forteress "Las Noches" that could be anywhere from the size of a town to maybe even a city; its huge.
Calculations say that Las Noches is actually the size of an entire country or the states of california or texas, and that was just the outside but the inside could be even bigger considering Las Noches is likley a pocket dimension created by Aizen and it has its own atmosphere which is pretty insane.

you should honestly watch the show from the beginning, yea the fillers might be a bit crappy but you can always skip it, getting the full experience of Bleach is a amazing. watching only the big fight doesn't bring it that much justice.
TBH I like some of the Bleach filler. Bleach is the the only one of the big 3 that had some actually good filler arc's. Don't get me wrong some of the filler is AWFUL and NEEDS to be skipped, but there's like 2 arcs of filler that where actually dope and I didnt mind watching them...
IDK why but even the bad Bleach filler still had AMAZING animation for the time... I never understood why they put so much effort into Bleach's filler episodes animation and even story... but they did... The Bount arc still hot ars garbage, the later filler arc where good, skip the early filler, all the early filler was hot doo doo.
@@aidensnow5017 i think those of us who watched em as the episodes came out have a much worse opinion on the fillers than those who have it all at their disposal. The wait to get back to the main story was brutal and bleach was hands down a nightmare with cliffhangers to begin with

Long story short: Ichigo and Ulquiorra are both hollow/shinigami hybrids. Ichigo is a shinigami who got a mask and inner hollow (the monster that came out after he was killed), which Ulquiorra is a hollow who had his mask partially removed and got a sword, giving him increased powers. Ulquiorra is working for Aizen and was tasked with kidnapping Orihime to draw Ichigo to the hollow world as a distraction, and was then responsible for making sure that no hollows messed with her while she was there. He doesn't understand humans, as he has absolutely no emotions.
Orihime gets kidnapped once, so she isn't really a damsel in distress. She actually has absurdly dangerous powers, but is a pacifist and so she only uses them to defense or to heal. She can negate events, effectively making it so they never happened--typically she uses this to heal people by rejecting the event that injured them, returning them to a state before they were injured (or even killed), or stopping attacks with a shield that negates attacks that hit it (she literally blocks an attack from god once). That said, she would be fully capable of using her powers to simple delete enemies from existence if she weren't a pacifist, so it's probably good that she is.
Unfortunately, they actually cut out some of the best moments, but most of the actual fight were kept in.
This fight was fantastic. The hell movie did a revamp of it that was also pretty cool, improved the look somewhat, a bit more exciting to watch maybe? Been a while since. All the music makes me excited. Shirō Sagisui is so good at what he does.

It wasn't so much that Ishida (glasses guy in white) didn't want Ichigo to kill Ulquiorra, more that it would have been extremely out of character for him to do it like that - as we see at the end "that was no way to win a fight" - so Ishida knew that something was wrong.
"Is she strong, or a damsel in distress?" - Mostly a damsel, especially in that arc. She has _the_ most broken ability in the cast (literally rejecting past events, which she uses to heal people) and the story never lets her use it properly.

@@sukuna716 If we're talking abilities Kubo actually _lets her use_ it can also shield, so not just healing.
The other thing it _can_ do that she never does is straight up bisect _anything_ by _rejecting the space through the middle of it._ Aizen was planning to use it to do all sorts of mad shit, too, if I'm remembering right.
So my point stands: Orihime could have been stupidly powerful, but Kubo was more interested in other things.

@@undeadMonk wrong aizen literally explained why he captured her it was to lore the gotei and ichigo there so the strength of the gotei could be cut in half and her rejecting powers are weak to kill cause of her mindset it was established by urahara and a soul reaper in the ss arc

Ulquiorra is an interesting character, despite him being an antagonist, he really felt like a misunderstood character and from the comment he made at the end of his life, was proof that he was like a child.

What happened at the end was he learned what feelings were. He became human for his last few seconds of life. He learned what it was they kept talking bout. I loved that about this fight

It's how you win. Ichigo winning that way would've brought shame onto himself. That's why he wanted ulqiurora to take off his limbs to even the score because he wasn't in control. It's all about honor at the same time.

the reason they go above las noches ceiling is because in las noches, The espada need to limit their strength like how soul reapers need to limit their stength on earth. When ulquiorra goes above the ceiling, he is technically no longer in las noches and can use his full power

Let me put that barehanding the Lanca Del la Rampago (lance of lightning). That lance detonates with the force of a multiple megaton nuclear weapon (Las Noches is at least 1 week across and hundreds of feet high) White barely awake literally tanked that in one hand and used enough reishi to NULLIFY A MULTI MEGATON NUCLEAR BLAST!!!!!!! Lets also point out his hierro (skin armor) literally contacted it without serious damage.
My conclusion:
Ullquiorra was a low vasto lorde at segunda etapa, white is a mid tier vasto lorde at base. Ullquiora if he was aware that white would come out he wouldnt have killed Ichigo only crippled him. White isnt a hollow, it a force of destruction, rage and power unbound or controlled.
