Turtle Lake in Ho Chi Minh City (or Ho Con Rua) is officially named Cong Truong Quoc Te - a roundabout connecting Vo Van Tan, Pham Ngoc Thach and Tran Cao Van Street in District 1. Turtle Lake is not a natural lake, but a small pond with fishes, fountains, some monuments and a tower resembling a lotus.

I used to fish there for fun when I was 5 to 7 years old back in the 70's. Walked to there from Pasteur street . Turtle lake has not changed much at all. So glad to see it that way, thank you.👍

@@VietnamWalker There used to be guppies and small perch/tilapia type fishes in there. That was 45 plus years ago. Police officers would come and chase us away. It was just a fun thing to fish there for young kids.
