Slower speed make sense as a 2s is only 7.4 volts and the stock battery is 8.4 volts. The main difference with the lipo is the faster discharge rate allowing you to do wheelies.
Thanks! I have a new motor and esc to put in the WPL. I have a bunch of videos lined up but I want to get ARRMA Gorgon videos uploaded while it’s still trending.
Thanks. I did use the charger that came with it. Honestly I don’t know how long it takes because I only used the battery like 2 times and been running 2S and 3S since. I haven’t really sat around and timed it. It does take awhile though.
It’s going good. I have not had any gear or transmission issues so far. I ran quite a few battery cycles through it too and haven’t gone easy on it. I am still running stock spur gear and slipper clutch but changed the pinion gear when I went brushless with it.
Exactly why I put my wheelie bar on after the first run. Thinking about gearing mine up just a little bit . Plenty of Low end.
I had thought about going 15T with the pinion. Take some of that low end snap away.
looking good cant wait to see it brushless! thanks for the share! stay awesome!
Coming this weekend. Stay tuned.
Nice session 👍🏾 it looks like it performed great on your track
Thanks! It did pretty good. So much better now with just adding that little bit of punch. Going brushless with it this weekend.

Exactly!
Actually, a fully charged 2s lipo is the same voltage of 7 cell nimh pack. A speed increase could be noticed with a higher discharge lipo.
But if I were to guess, there definitely was a deans to ec3 adapter with wires that could affect performance.
Amazing and detailed speed test 😊
4x4 would definitely backflip off that. Also, I wouldn’t feel great about putting brushless in those. The plastic gears aren’t likely to last long.
Bring back the wpl videos!!! Great videos lately man

Nice session buddy 👍 very amazing 👍 ❤
Thanks!
Do lipo batteries last longer?
The stock battery trait doesn't last very long for me, and takes like 6 hours to charge !!
Lipos are so much better. They do last longer too and have so much more instant power.
Hear ratio may be torque rather than speed

Cool video. Do you charge the 2S with the charger that came with the truck? If you do, how long does it take to charge it.
Thank you.

Boas o rc aguenta 3s? De origem? O que modificações fez entao?
Did you have to use an adapter when you used the lipo or did it already have a ec3 or ic3 connector?
@@JcsRCinsight I used an adapter
Hey just asking did you turn up the speed on the controller 50/75/100_? Is the controller a Spektrum SLT 2
It is a SLT 2 and speed was at 100
Nice! Do you know the dimensions of the battery tray? :)
5.43 inches long 1.77 wide 0.98 high
how slow can you tune down the max Speed via remote? need it slow for a kid and fast for me.
Remote has 3 speed settings. 50% 75% and 100%
24-25 mph is pretty good for 1/18 scale, but we need 4wd.
This is 1/10 scale. 4wd would be great.
How long does that nonstock battery last compared to stock
I can’t tell you in exact minutes but it lasts quite a bit longer. The added punch alone is worth it.
Get 8cell 4600 nimh or even 5000 7cell nimh stronger or even 3s lipo if you fit 3s reedy an 3s esc
I been running 3S since I went brushless.
@@ReadytoRunRC I liked that one brushed tho I might go brushless soon
@@ReadytoRunRC how is it going??. Any gear upgrade or transmission problem??

Let it rip
Heck yeah!
