I would say Emily Wilde's Map of the Otherlands is among my top 4 books (It was difficult to choose as I have 19 books! ) But from my comics list my top favourite was the manga "Saint? No! I'm Just a Passing Beast Tamer!" -- it's a cozy adventure about a girl who just wants to gather fluffy creatures.
My Favorite was The Keeper Origins trilogy by JA Andrews. Such amazing characters in a wonderfully detailed world. It is such a well rounded fantasy series that pulls you in from the first chapter. One of my all time favorites, right now.
You had some phenomenal reads Liv! This was the year that I discovered Abby Jimenez & Sarah Adams. Some of my top faves: Divine Rivals, Emma, & Emily of New Moon. Happy new year!!
My top books were: The Frozen River Yours Truly Night Road Heartless Hunter Funny Story The Teacher Finlay Donovan Is Killing It ( read all 4 in the series back to back)
Thank you for the video. The Abby Jimenez is in my top ten books of the year too. My favorite book of the year is hands down The Pumpkin Princess and the Forever Night. It's the perfect fall read and without spoiling anything there is a character that just melts my heart.
The way I just squealed when I saw Heartless Hunter was your number one too!! I cannot stop thinking about it! Not even surprised we had so many in common! Also this sweater?!? LOVE! 😍😍
I haven't figured out my top favorites of the year but Heartless Hunter and Ruthless Vows are up there. I'm using these best of the year videos to make my 25 in 25 list. If one is mentioned that I own it's automatically getting added to the list. I'll be adding The Reappearance of Rachel Price, The Thirteenth Child and What The River Knows to my list! Maybe some others from your honerable mentions list as well. 😆
❤ I also found Abby Jimenez this year (I’m late to her) and have only read Part of Your World and loved it! So, now I’m going to read all of hers before her new one comes out. And, I’m a thriller reader!😂. That said, my favorite of the year was probably Nightwatching by Tracy Sierra.
My favorite book this year I just finished the other day, North is the Night by Emily Rath! Folk fantasy at its best, highly recommend! Heartless Hunter is a close second!! 😊

I also really enjoyed Play Along by Liz Tomforde, That's Not My Name by Megan Lally, Bride by Ali Hazelwood and Human Acts by Han Kang💕 I think 2025 will be a year for me where I read most of my backlist too as I have so many series to finish or start
