Loving this book Jim. I can play blues and even sit in on Real Book tunes but this book is teaching me fundamentals in the language that I have never systematically approached and learned. When listening to the greats, I've always thought "how do they do that?" This book helps me get inside. No gimmicks just examples, insight and work!

@@realbasslessons9356 i always thought the Jazz Bass was for the Jazz and the P Bass was for the blues - but as a famous man once said (you!) "There's no music police!". You are affectionately know as the anti Music police man by my daughters :-) And you are adding jazz on top of blues.
It would be a tragedy if these bass lessons are ever removed from UA-cam … totally unique. “Real” bass lessons indeed.
