I've said this several times that trying to find the least crowded dates becomes irrelevant if Disney continues to increase party capacity.
As much info you gather it is hard to predict when to go. I have tried to plan it for years, but lately the party is always crowded. Just cross you fingers and hope. As long as you have a good time and make magical memories that is all that matters.

Love that the day I happen to be going to MVMCP is the same day you say is likely to be the slowest!
November 19 is my son's 2nd birthday and that's the day we are going to the party. That's the #1 best day to go - what a great present to our family and to our little son!!!
Definitely not going to the Christmas Party this year. Flying in for the Halloween Party and the end of Illuminations. Yet I watched this whole thing with intense interest.

We went to the 2nd party last year (1st Friday) & it was packed! Our family enjoyed the parade & fireworks show better with the Christmas party, but everything else during the Halloween party was overall a better deal.
Thanks for the helpful info. We're booked Nov. 15th! I would have loved to do a Tues/Thurs, but it just didn't work out this time. We went with Nov. 29th last year and I still felt like it was pretty busy. 🥺
Yikes, our party is 11/24 with an X. I think the Star Wars events are throwing everything out of whack this year though. Keeping my fingers crossed that December will be a madhouse as everyone is flocking to ROR and November will be unusually calm. A girl can dream.

I agree with your logic. I originally had planned to go to Disney week after Thanksgiving with my wife. We found hotels crazy booked as we couldn't adjust our days by 1 or 2 days from originally booking. They then announced Rise of Resistance. We decided to move our trip to before Thanksgiving, and picked the 19th for Party day figuring all the locals will have been by then, it's a Tuesday, and it would be lowest crowd.

I will be there December 1-4 and will be attending the party on the 3rd. Then I'm getting out of Dodge before the RoR madness.

well dang, we are going to the 24th one. I was hoping that it would be light because they don't usually do a party the week of thanksgiving and this is the first time they are doing that.
Well so far you’re off. The only nights sold out so far are the 22nd of December and the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
I bought my x-mas party ticket last week for Nov. 19th. Yay!
November 17th is also Dapper Day at MK. Wondering if that will have any impact on party crowd increase.
We went the Tuesday after Veteran's Day 2018 and if that's projected as a light crowd, I'm not sure I'd want to go any other time! Unfortunately, it felt so crowded for the extra $400+ that we paid that I don't think we'll be trying another party any time soon.
Im planning on going 12/3. Hopefully is a low crow party. I was thinking it would be cause NPH is going to be Epcot and lots of people like to see him. Fingers cross I’m right. lol
Aren;t the xmas party wait times alot slower than the other park days? I would think it would be less busy than the 23rd of December? I'm debating rather going 12/22 for party or 12/22

I can understand ROR disturbing the xmas parties, but for those that live over 1,000 miles away, 1 ride won't change plans for most. I can see a lot of locals and media flying in for it, but not the average family. My family is planning on 2 xmas parties, the Tuesday before ROR, and the sunday after. I'm actually changing my plans during that week cuz I don't want to be in HS the day ROR opens, don't want to deal with that crowd. I also see why Disney opens ROR that week since it would have been a dead week.
Can you do this again for 2022?! Please!

Ha...well looks like we're going to the third worst party, but not much we can do about that. Literally at WDW for 2.5 days before we head down to Fort Lauderdale to get on a cruise, and since we're not from the US this will likely be the only time we hit any Disney park when they're setup for Christmas, so it's more or less a once in a lifetime thing for us

I was about to ask Touring Plans about that. They include tickets for the Dec 22 Christmas Party! Anyone have any ideas of the significance of that? Odds Disney concerned that week will be oddly light? Or are they determined to pack it to the rafters? 😄
Lisa Parker well I remember Len saying once they did the deals based on hotel reservations and they attach it specifically to hotels showing low occupancy and I cannot recall them doing such deals Christmas week before...

So after the last party on Dec 22nd what is the theme for the Magic Kingdom? Is it just regular hours with normal parades and Happily Ever after fireworks?

I believe they offer all the Christmas experiences with regular admission after the 22nd up until Jan 1st-ish, with the exception of cookies and treats.
Im surprised the 8th isnt one of hte worst with it being all new things and alot of vlogers and sites wanting to check all the new things out.
Going on Nov 24th. I just hope for the best. If I don't have to wait on 7dwarfs mine train longer than 1 our I am gonna be a happy gal.
I think crowd levels will be harder to predict this year due to the exorbitant price increases.
I'm glad dec 12 isnt on the busy list.

Hey listen Brian I've been there and done that time and time over as a matter of fact I pre-planned so I knew what I was doing at the MAGIC KINGDOM that night and no I'm not a first timer I'm very intelligent your forgetting the price hike for the Holidays for all four theme park it a one day ticket to any of those four theme parks it's going cost $159
OK so I done my own maths.... We are going 9th and with 44 comments no one else said 9th so I am hoping that's a fab sign..... If anyone else reads this and thinks they might book that day.... I am yoda.... Not go will you to mvmcp on 9th Dec.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
