Amazing work! You are my favorite IT youtuber! Everything you post is so down to earth and easy to follow. Keep up the great work! Looking forward to the next video.
U re doing a great job so far Sysadmin... Ur videos on AD are helpful i did do a home lab by watching those videos while i was studying Security+ and and i could bypass any question regarding AD..once again Thanks!
YES! You dont need server hardware to learn and test information technology. All you need is a cheap laptop with a processor that supports virtualization.
Thank you for your sharing. I would like to explore the difference between using VMware/Virtual Box/Hyper-V and GNS3/EVE-NG/others to set up a home lab. Thanks!
Auto logon is a cool tool, but it caches password to sam file if i am write this will give hacker to get admin password that is setting the machine instead you can use powershell to remote some staff and clear the history of powershell when you done
Great tip! yeah auto logon caches the password in the registry but it's not directly accessible by the user account. We also do not use an admin account for autologon and we create different service accounts for different autologon to isolate an issue if one of the account did get hacked.
@EastCharmer that sounds cool. However, the service account auto logon may create a kerberoasting attack, which will attacker to get domain admin in an easy way be looking on that, the key point is to watch the logs in either splunk or elastic etc to see what is happening in your environment
I'm wondering if you can help me? First, I want to say I appreciate you, and I like your videos. I'm studying for my comptia A+ and I wanted to learn about active directory but unfortunately the laptop I bought was a 2021 macbook pro. It's not compatible with Active Directory. I even downloaded a virtual machine using parallels, so I have Windows 11 (vm) on my laptop, but I guess the arm processors aren't compatible with Active Directory so I can't download it. What if I downloaded Azure and used Active directory in the cloud? Can you please help me? I just want to learn Active directory
Thank you for caring and seeking to help others for free, so I wish you all success and good luck in your life.

quick question; after learning AD, should i learn Powershell or nah?
Yes! You should learn powershell if you want to do some scripts and automation in AD like adding new users, groups etc
