Just watched this movie. Never knew about it. Was drawn in by the actor and actress and I absolutely loved it. As complicated as the human condition and emotions under which this movie is based, it was beautifully made and if you put your personal feelings aside about the rights and wrongs of any situation, you can certainly relate to each character. The performances were spot on. I felt empathy for all of them. How life and what it can do to you mentally and emotionally, can be so complex. Glad I didn't miss this one!
I looooove these two. Just keep making movies. They have a wonderful chemestry, if just they were a couple. That would be amazing. I didn't like the story at the end, according to the book. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I wish they they could change the end. If not, it is so sad.
Sucks that these two great actors acted so well and then got screwed over by the director and production that kinda ruined the story from the book. Oh well. The only person's career that is going to be hurt by this is the director. What a flop of a movie!
